many of us can understand. I am in similar situation. Lets stay positive that all will get better soon and we could all keep our travel plans and meet our loved ones.So in short nothing we can do and just have to wait and watch my travel is really urgent and I really they sort this issue out ASAP
I had applied for 1 year e-visa on Sept 18th 8PM EST and got the status as 'Granted' on Sept 19th, 7AM EST. I was surprised but I later heard others have got it within 4 hours. I was able to download the bar coded ETA with status as 'Granted' showing 1 year validity upto Sept 2024 and with photo.24-48 hrs was max. Looks like the accepted ones are also not being processed. For OCI still waiting for someone to share his personal experience.

They have the same phone numbers.I called their Toronto jurisdiction number. I was on hhold for about 40 minutes before speaking to someone.
Totally agree.. my flights are booked for Oct 27th and I applied for Evisa on Sep 19th but never received response for same and than applied for OCI on Sep 27th but we know how long that will take.. I have 0 idea what to do and this trip is really important.. They should understand how its impacting normal peopleIs there a way that we can get connected to the high commission of India to explain our normal people need for visa as we have planned this trip to India way far ahead for many things. I dont understand why Indian government was us to suffer with this issue. They should have tried to sort it out without affecting the normal people.
Everybody should join together to escalate this to higher end as we are the ones suffering from visa suspension
I wouldn't count on that, things are changing by day. It could become worse before it improves, if I were you I would make alternate plans.Do you think they will atleast process visas already submitted?
wasn't that my dialogueI wouldn't count on that, things are changing by day. It could become worse before it improves, if I were you I would make alternate plans.
sorry shaktimaanwasn't that my dialogue
Honestly if they were going to process those they would have. The fact that they haven’t means it won’t happen until the suspension is lifted - just a horribly unfair frustrating situation!Do you think they will atleast process visas already submitted?
correct, see this - https://www.cgitoronto.gov.in/Heard HCI is accepting applications from 26th October. Anyone heard otherwise?
