Anybody from Mumbai for Express Entry? Need help for medical test

Hi All,

Is there anybody from Mumbai, India who has got the medical done or is about to take the medical.

The Lilavati hospital in Mumbai is asking for IME number. What is the alternative to IME??

Any other hospital in the empanelled list of CIC apart from Lilavati?

Some of these panel physicians aren't completely clued in on EE. You might need to educate them. Insist on eMedical. If they want a reference number, give them your EE number. Carry your ITA letter along for Medicals.

One more query on the Medcial Process.

I have uploaded all the docs on the EE profile except the medical. Now, once I go for the medical, will the doctor give me any receipt and I upload it on the same day??

Or, the doctor will ask me to wait for some days for the confirmation of medical?

If you get an eMedical done, you will be given a 1 page printout at the end of the tests.

Your dependent also need to undergo medicals .No exceptions....

Hi, I am from Mumbai too.. I believe Lilavati wud b a better option to get ur Medicals done rather than clinical diagnostic center. I was asked for IME number too but they agreed for EE num and the ITA letter. My appointment has been fixed in the coming days.

Medicals are required for all those travelling to Canada.

The test take approximately 3 hours.

PS : Cost is Rs 4100 & you need to carry your passport , xerox of front & last page of the page , your ITA / admit letter . Photographs are not required. They would take it there itself, but just carry a few to be on the safer side.
