Anybody for Seneca college - JAN 2011 intake

Hello Friends

Anybody joining Seneca college for Jan 2011 intake.... pls share ur experience as to when was the acceptance letter issued, visa filed and status...

My letter can on 1st week of Nov, applied for visa on 29th Nov, status file under processing. :'(

i got admission in seneca@york campus for 1 yr Pg course. start: jan 2011

i got the acceptance letter on 15th Nov frm seneca.

paid the fee on 18th nov thro wire.

applied for visa at VFS hyd on 22nd nov and frm 23rd it reached delhi CHC and "under Process"

I have not done my Medicals yet. Did u complete ur medicals before visa ?

no, i didnt recieve anythng.

i applied to visa using my wiretransfer bank acknoledment.

Hi,

Yes even i paid the Ist sem fee through wire transfer and filed my visa with the TT receipt from the bank.
Well even i have not received the receipt from the college yet.

I will be placed in newham campus.

I have completed the medicals before filing the visa, as my consultant said that would help in quick processing.

I am joining for Human resource Management, what course are you guys joining for...

i coudnt do the medical before hand so applied for post medical.....waiting for a medical call.


my app was under process from 23rd nov.

Its now 8 days since my file has reached Delhi... No response so far...

I am quite nervous and worried.

Just hoping & praying the Lord Almighty will make things work well .....

If u have applied for post medicals then u have to wait a bit longer.. becoz pre-medic app is faster than post medic file. as u might be having you passport with u (or u have sent it) and after processing ur file ( 1 week ) CHC will first send u a form stating u to take ur medics ( it will take 1 week to be delivrd to u ) u shud get ur medicals till 2day as its been 12-13 days frm 24 nov , and if u get ur medicals nw say 10 dec and then you get ur medics done by 10/11 dec , the doc will send it after 2-3 days and CHC will recive it almost 1 week ( as we live in india evrything goes delayd) says 17-18 dec and again they process ur file n ask u urs passport, it will take 1 more week till they get ur passport ( u myt be sending by speed-post or so) by then it would be 24-25 dec, they will take 3-4 days or more to process ur file and give u a Visa( hope so) and u'll get ur passport till 2-3 jan 2011.

So dnt cry .. u must have actd smrtly as pre- medics take only 15-16 days rather than 3-4 weeks
just have patience.

i dont think they need 45days to stamp for post-medical
at that time i need to hurry man..

but what i heard or seen is ...after u apply within 1 or 2 weeks we ll get the medical call.. and within one day the courier with passport frm embassy reach us. and after we take up medicals we have to wait for 2 or 3 days and we have to submit the file at vfs again. they take around one day to transfer it to chc delhi. after that they need atleast 1 week to stamp.

but there are people who has done pre medical and got the visa in 1 month. and there are people who are post medical and go the visa n 20 days.


We cannot judge any file. It depends on our Luck.......& GOd knowsthe date man.

Am joining Seneca @ newham campus. which course are you joining for. i just got my visa yesterday, working on my accommodation part.
hey by the did u get the receipt for the tuition fee...
Also buddy i guess Seneca provides airport pick up, found this info from their site. Planning to call them tonight to confirm on this...

So whats the status on ur accommodation...
