Just wondering if anyone has heard anything (apart from the aor) after applying in or around November 2007.

Does anybody have any idea whether i'll be hearing from the embassy anytime soon?

Thank you.

Hi,
We applied in September 2007 from London office and still waiting, but I can see that some people that applied in July 2007 have received the update document letter, which means we should not have to wait too long. I hope.

ManiB,

You, me, edupolo and others, should be receiving something in the next 3 to 4 Months, hopefully.
So I think it is time we all start preparing our documents. :)

HI BobbyB

DO U KNOW IF I HAVE TO FILL IN THE APPLICATION IN ALL CAPITAL LETTERS OR IN USUAL FORMAT LIKE CAPITAL & SMALL LETTERS?

I filled them in using a computer and used Capital Letters all through, but I guess you can use the format that you suggested as well.

Bobby, you are right. Mine was feb 2007 and my document was called for feb 2009, I was later asked to do IELTS, which I have since taken. I am however, waiting for response any time from now

Cheers for the input.

What documents should we start preparing beforehand though? dont they want everything to be produced closer to the submission date?

Hello BobbyB

Yes I think you're right. I've been threatening to get it all together since getting my confirmation but haven't managed to get all of it yet. The urgency seems to have gone but I better get my skates on now I guess!

Hey edupolo,

I posted a sample of the request for documents update letter above with ca. 9 points, and you are still asking what we need to start preparing. These and a few others are the things that are actually on the CIC London's specific requirements.
The Documents they normally want closer to the date is/are Police Certificates and that too, infact, only the latest from the country you are currently resident in.

I knew what documents they need, but I was told that employment letters, notarised copies, all police certificates, funds, and others, had to be dated within the time frame that they give you at least once you receive the update letter.
We have worked for the same company for more than 10 years since graduating from Graduate School, which makes things really easy when gathering documents. Luckily for us, we have now everything except for police certificates.

That should be fine in your case. In my case, for example, I have a few clients who have gone into Administration "(Burst)", just Last Month. Believe me, If I had not made "Hay when the sun was shining", I would never have been able to get references from this 2 company's, which I have served for more than 2 Years.
Thank God, I started requesting for references from such clients in March 2009.

Dear All

I also applied in Nov 2007, CHC London. But my AOR is Jan 2008. Do I fall within the same time frame or did you mean applicants with AOR Nov 2007. I was given 48 months waiting timeline. Can you kindly confirm is your timeline and AOR the same as mine.

Thank You.

Regards.

Hi,

Yes, I was sent a letter with a timeframe between 42 and 48 months, which was so discouraging!
However on the CIC website, it gives a timeframe between 31-41 months.
Are you aware of www.trackitt.com? you can review immigration cases and timelines for Skilled Worker applications. It is very useful and would recommend you to have your case there if you dont already to help others. Mine is there under same nickname.
I think they are requesting documents for people that applied in April 2007, so not long to go hopefully.
