Any Vancouver's Live in Care givers who is still waiting for an interview letter

Hello All!

I got my second letter last week but is dated March 4th (I have never received anything via EMAIL, I have to request to send it by mail).

Anyways the letter says that I have to pay the fees... I haven't done that yet since I don't have a date for the interview yet. Should I pay first in order to get an interview?
I got a little confused...

Yes, you can go ahead and pay $490 in order for them to arrange an interview schedule. Don't wait.
I paid mine since early Jan as soon as I received AIP. I have been waiting for an interview schedule since then.

Hello guys

Just phoned CIC hotline and ask about my interview letter from CIC for it's been 4 months already since I received the second email...and this what CIC agent said" in Vancouver area it takes 6 months to wait for the interview letter...if by June 9 still you haven't recieve the letter then call us again" ..
I still have 2 more months to wait then....may Godbless

Thanks a lot for sharing. Isn't it weird March 2013 applicant has received the interview letter before you? Don't they do it in order?

I told the agent about it too Siraprapha but still he insisted we can't do nothing about it but to wait. Looking forward for June 9.... Hope I will recieve the letter before that date.

I called CIC today and they told me that if I don't hear from Vancouver's office until September is should give them a call...

So yes, we have to wait 6 months at least.

Wow CIC Vancouver office, 2013 applicants in edmonton are getting their interviews and even 2012 vancouver applicants r still waiting and waiting and waiting for interview? How fare is it

Neng23 they claim that this is the "regular" waiting time for the Vancouver office...

I know is not fair that applicants of 2013 have their landed documents already ... so frustrating!

If they claimed 6-month is their regular processing time, what about 3 of my gfs who got their AIP and the interview letters only 2 weeks apart? They both are landed PR now and they are also from Vancouver. Why we have to wait for 6 months?

Exactly is what I wonder! I mean ive been waiting one month and a half already

Okay so now I know CIC does not do it in order. I am May 2012 applicant but they sent me AIP after you and I am still waiting for a letter..hrr.. This is so frustrated.

Hey what does AIP stands for? is the letter saying that the application process was completed? I received mine on March and I applied on April 2012 ...

Did you receive the letter via mail or email?

Hello guys !

I'm very happy today! Just received my interview letter from CIC Vancouver! Finally after 4months and 8 days of waiting such interview letter ! Thanks God ! I 've got it a couple of minutes ago! My interview will be this coming May 29 at 1pm .
(Yesterday I was very sad when my friend phoned me that she got her interview letter and scheduled for an interview this coming May 7.)

To all my fellow CAregiver especially those who are in this tread ....just hang on ...your letter is on your way ...
