Any Vancouver's Live in Care givers who is still waiting for an interview letter

Hello guys !

I'm very happy today! Just received my interview letter from CIC Vancouver! Finally after 4months and 8 days of waiting such interview letter ! Thanks God ! I 've got it a couple of minutes ago! My interview will be this coming May 29 at 1pm .
(Yesterday I was very sad when my friend phoned me that she got her interview letter and scheduled for an interview this coming May 7.)

To all my fellow CAregiver especially those who are in this tread ....just hang on ...your letter is on your way ...

I am sooo happy for you!! I was speechless when I was reading read your email. Finally it is your turn. Such a long waiting time. Thank you for being here with me since we have started this thread lol..
Good luck on your interview and keep us posted on the results.

It gives me hope that I should keep on waiting. Hopefully I will see my letter soon.

Hey what does AIP stands for? is the letter saying that the application process was completed? I received mine on March and I applied on April 2012 ...

Did you receive the letter via mail or email?

Yes, AIP is the one they send via email saying the application process has been completed.

Are you an April or May 2012 applicant? When did CIC receive your application?
I am May 2012 and I got my AIP on Jan 7th.
Did you say you just got it in March?

OMG I just received my letter for interview!!

Timeline:

PR application received : 2nd April 2012
OWP received: July 2012
Police clearance: December 2nd 2013
AIP : March 4th 2014
Letter for interview dated : April 11th (received on the 17th)
Appointment : May 7th 2014

So it really takes 2 years to get through all the process!

Now, does anyone wants to share what the interview is about?

My interview date is on May 28th..

Yes, it really takes about 24 moths since they received my application until the interview date..wow wow wow..

Hi guys,
I was so depressed reading this crap about Vancouver office, so unfair... Only Easter made it brighter and i am glad u r getting your letters.
I applied for PR in November 2011, in Nov 2013 got first stage of approval..exactly 2 yrs.. LC2 in January 2014, my hubby submitted papers in Feb, got medical request in March, my family is in Russia, they passed medical in the mid of April, i am hoping to get to the next stage very soon.. waiting for a letter ab payment and then invitation for interview. Hopefully it wont take too long, cant wait to see my boys. Good luck to everyone!!!!!!!!!

Vancouver applicants! lets keep this topic alive! need to understand how this office works currently!
My timeline:
PR application: nov 2011
First stage of approval: nov 2013
LC2 received January 2014 by family in Russia, they submitted it in February
Medical request : March 2014 for family, they passed it in middle April.
i saw on my e-case that medical results received in 2 weeks after they passed it.
silence since then, waiting for 7 weeks now....

Hi everybody, I've been following this forum for long time, I am also a caregiver from vancouver 2011 applicant with 1 dependant overseas(mexico), I would like to share my timeline


PR/OWP application: March 2011
Application Started: April 2011
OWP Received: December 2011
AIP: April 2013
LC2 Medicals and Security-Background: October 2014
E-mail from Vegreville Case Centre stating my process is complete and wait for CIC Vancouver letter of interview and also stating that overseas office in Mexico will grant visa to dependants: May 14th 2014

So, it seems I'm gonna have to wait probably couple months more considering CIC Vancouver is the slowest in Canada, I hope they dont go longer than the 39 months that CIC states for Caregivers process.

Best luck for all of you that have dependants waiting to be reunited again with us, its a long journey but the end will be rewarding, and also for the single applicants my best wishes.
