hi,
there are many universities in Canada like UNIVERSITY OF SASKATCHEWAN, which gives admission without IELTS on the following basics.
1-If you have spend the 4 year graduation after post secondary (12th grade) in such a institution where language of instruction medium is english.(some universities give admission only if you spent just 3 year post secandary education where language of instruction is in english.
2-If you have done O'LEVEL or A'LEVEL then IELTS is waived.
3-some universites have made a "exempt IELTS" countries and which country is in list applied from mention country IELTS is waived.
see the links some universites which give you without IELTS on the above basics.

HI,
Momi is absolutely right.
By appearing in ielts, you have more optins for number of university,
By appearing in ielts you are not bound to certain university( which waives ielts.)
And finally for visa it is important too.

In most universities, the requirement for english test depends on where you completed your education or the country you are coming from. You will need to look at each university.

agr uni ielts 6.5 band mangri hy or 6 band agya tu kia admission de dy gy ya phr 0.5 k lye ielts dena huga

My friend got admission in concordia university on the basis of an English Proficiency letter issued by his university stating that the medium of instructions in his four year course was english. Now I don't know if that will be a problem in his visa application or not. Lets hope for the best. And best of luck

it really depends on the uni and college, I didnt have to submit ielts when I joined Centennial college

Try TOEFL IBT, OR MELAB, some universities accepts diffrents Tests of English, some of them cheapers than IELTS, or more "easy".
