Ok, I figured that if you were in spain you would have to go through Paris.
How come you want to move to Canada?
We want to move there because my partner is American, but I do not want to move to America, so we thought that it would be a good way to compromise and be close to our American family.

well... similar to you.

my wife is german and we have been considering this for some
time, now due to the economic situation we decide to leave.

also we have some ideas for a business related to internet that, I assure you, its impossible
to develop here inspain or even in germany (bureocracy is a big monster)
we consider canada is better than the US for immigration. probably close to europeans in
their ways of living and thinking (not an ofense to North americans)

we have just ended within our documents gathering and will send the application this week.

I am trying to find people like us, spaniards or germans, to share information about all this...

Yes, if you have any questions you can ask, and I may be able to answer. I do not know how different it is from one visa office (London) to another (Paris).
I am in the last process of the application. Waiting for passport request at some point. It has been a very long process for us (4 years nearly) and still not over yet.

I agree with you about bureaucracy in Spain. That is what keeps me away from Spain, all the useless paperwork!!! Canada will be a great option is you want something between Europe and the USA.

I know Seville very well, I studied 2 years of High School there and my parents are still living there, they have been there for 16 years now.

Have you heard of a website called www.trackitt.com, I recommend you to sign up, it gives you a very good idea of processing times based on other applicants around the world.
