I just saw that the list says I need to upload a letter of employment? What is that and how is it different from Employment Record.

For employment record i will upload proof of employment, pay stubs, t4.
What should I upload for letter of employment? Should i provide my offer letter (offer of employment) there?

hi
i got ITA on june 27 and im trying hard to collect all the required documents to file e-APR.
My question is
In my EE profile there are two options "continue application" and "Decline invitation".
if i chose continue application, will they provide me personalized checklist?

Yes. There will be another section to complete before you are directed to the checklist. Even if you are planning to decline the invitation, I recommend that you click on 'Continue Application' to see for yourself what happens next. Even after doing that, you can still decline the ITA or let it lapse automatically on 27th August.

can i decline invitation later if im not able to collect the documents required and go back to EE pool again?

Yes. At any point in time. Or it will automatically lapse in 60 days.

thank you

Hi,
As per my understanding one gets additional points if the applicant or their spouse have a close relative who is an Canadian.

My spouse's sibling is a Canadian citizen, which we had filled in the initial application, however, post ITA form does not explicitly ask about it (only regular information about all family members). Even the documents checklist does not have a link for that.

Even on the CIC website they have mentioned under "Other Documents" category " Proof of relationship to relative in Canada, status of relative in Canada, and residence status of relative in Canada ", needs to be submitted.

Am I missing something???
Parents, siblings and children are covered in the generic form itself. Only other relatives figure in the 'Other documents' category.

Recommend that you add an LOE with supporting documents for this.

Can I do my medical in any country?
-because im in UK and planning to go back to Nepal soon, and its much cheaper to do medical in Nepal than here in UK.
my spouse will have to do medical in Nepal anyway as she lives in Nepal.
So, Can we both do medical in Nepal ?
Thank you

Hi Asivad,
I hope you can help me to determine why my profile appears ineligible:
1-Age: 43
2-Work Experience outside Canada: 2 years (NOC 1213)
3-CELPIP-GENERAL (TAKEN: FEB 2015):

L:11 ; S:8 ;R:7 ;W:7

4:TEF (TAKEN: 01/2015):

L:280 ;S:450; R:156; W:347

4-ECA FROM WES: BACHELOR (4 YEARS)
5-MARRIED
6-POF:38000 CAD (6 MEMBERS INCLUDING ME)
7-HAVE JOB OFFER WITH NO LMIA. DO NOT HAVE NOMINATION.
8-SPOUSE: NOT CANADIAN, NOT PR, NO RELATIVES, NO WORK, NO LANGUAGE TESTS.

PLEASE HELP.
You are ineligible because you don't qualify under FSWP as you score only 59. You need at least 67/100 to qualify.

Age - 4
Education - 21
Language - 23 (19/E+4/F)
Arranged Employment - 0
Adaptability - 0
Experience - 11

If you have 6 or more years of work experience under 1 NOC, that will give you 4 additional points.

Improving CELPIP/IELTS so that each section is at least CLB 9 will give you 5 additional points.

If your spouse writes the CELPIP/IELTS and scores at least CLB 4 in each section, that will give you 5 additional points.

I'm assuming that you have no Canadian skilled work experience else that could've given you points as well.

Hope this helps. All the best!

Yes. Just do it at a panel physician who is using eMedical. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/medical/medexams-perm.asp

My score is 435 and i am planning to apply for PNP .I have few questions here :

1)when is the 1500 $ fees to be paid to get PNP (ontario - NOC 2271) ,is it only after you get it or when you apply ?

2)If i apply for PNP and in the meantime i get a ITA from CEC will i have to still pay that fees for PNP ?

3)Any suggestions whether i should go fr PNP or not ?

Hi Asivad,

I have a "Post Graduate diploma in business "from a recognised ( as per WES list)institute in New Zealand.

However this diploma is not on the list of recognised degrees in New Zealand. In fact, if you go through the list of WES , there is not a single diploma mentioned. However in the WES website they state that we can still send our case for evaluation even if the degree/ institution is not on their list.

With your experience and knowledge could you please tell me what the Canadian equivalence of my New Zealand diploma would be.(in case you have seen any such evaluation report before)

Personally, I haven't encountered such instances on the forum at least. Others can weigh in with their inputs.

If the institution is indeed listed on WES, there is no harm in sending out an ECA request. It will cost you a finite amount but that's the bet you are placing on this front.

All the best!

Thanks for the prompt reply Asivad. In case others have any confirmation on this , please post

Kunalbhai,

As per my knowledge you will get a credential assessment report from one of the 3 listed below: (Note this is just my opinion I am not a person from WES :p :p :p) also depends on your credits and length of course in New Zealand. It also depends on whether you got degree or certificate too. WES are very strict in some terminology.

1 year diploma certificate/ degree equivalent to 1 year Canadian diploma
2 year diploma certificate/ degree equivalent to 2 year Canadian diploma
Status of College unrecognized not an equivalent to Canadian standards....

Thanks.....

Just got a request for more information:
Schedule A: Please use the following link to provide details of your Personal history for the period: July 2005 to September 2005
IMM5669E.pdf
> Do not leave any gaps in time.

Can anyone confirm whether I need to fill out the whole document in full, or just the Personal History section between the above dates?

Hi ntwkengg,

Thanks for your reply. Just wanted to ask have you got any New Zealand diploma evaluated yourself ? Or else do you know of anyone else who has ?

My institute is on the recognised list from WES and my course was a one year PG diploma at the end of which I got a certificate.

Waiting for your reply again. Thanks, kunal

Hi Asivad Anac, I am a little confused with the currency converter to be use in Settlement Fund. The agent who assessed us says we will be using CAD$45 as the exchange rate. Is this true? Or should we use the prevailing exchange rate? Please help. Thanks.
