HI guys, I am preparing the document for PR application under EE BCPNP. On my checklist, i am required to provide the following documents regarding my present job in Canada:
1. Employment record
2. Offer of Employment
3. Letter of Employment

I understand that I need to provide the pay stubs and Offer of Employment, which i have provided in my BCPNP application. But what is the Letter of Employment means? is that means employer recommendation letter? CIC did not provide explanation for this item. I hope someone can give me some advises.

Thank you. ;)

I_love_Van i am in the same situation. Collecting docs for PR FST but not sure about what is the letter of Employment. I suppose it is the letter, or a contract, you signed according with your employer to perform your job at this moment, either in Canada or anywhere else. But i am not so sure...I hope anybody can answer our question.
But more, what to do if you are a self-employed worker, just like I am? If I am right about letter of employment, It seems to be very similar to the proof of work (employment records).

ops, I really love Van too... ;)

Hello house and how is everything.
I am yet to register my profile on EE cos my academic transcript is still being processed but hopefully wil have it sent to WES soonest.
I however have a few questions concerning my NOC.

What happens if my job roles fits more than one NOC code? Cos i av worked in Sales, Marketing, Business Development
My job responsibilities includes wholesale and retail sales and marketing, a bit of Corporate Sales and Business Development.

So, my job duties falls under the ffg NOC codes:
Sales, Marketing and Advertising Manager (0611),
Corporate Sales Manager (0601).
Retail and Wholesale Trade Manager (0621).
I did much of Wholesale and Retail Sales/Marketing.

I want to believe i fall in the three. How do i go about this and which NOC do i choose?
So which NOC do u think i s the best?

There are 3 things to consider here...

1. For basic EE eligibility, you need 1 year of full-time paid work experience in NOC 0/A/B over the last 10 years. Choose as your primary NOC something that closely approximates to what you intend doing in Canada. Of course, this has to be backed up by your educational credentials and past work experience.

2. For FSW 100 point grid (wherein you need to score at least 67 points), you'll have to carefully choose the NOC which gives you the best possible points for work experience to help with program eligibility. You get the maximum points (15) for 6+ years of experience in the same NOC code so be extremely careful while choosing your NOC here. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp

3. CRS score (in Skills Transferability section) gets maxed out at a combination of 3 years of work experience (in the last 10 years) and language assessment. This will go hand-in hand with Pt 1 above. Do note that EE is NOC-agnostic when it comes to CRS score so these 3 years can be across multiple NOCs but recommend keeping this within the same NOC and as your primary NOC, if possible.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/grid-crs.asp

Hope this explains the rationale to be used by you in finalizing your NOC. While choosing NOCs, ignore the job title(s) and match the job role statements with your specific roles & responsibilities as per your work reference letter(s) and past work experience(s).
http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2011/OccupationIndex.aspx

Hope this helps. All the best!

Hi,

I just filled in EE application and got 419 points which included 5 points for my OH Canadian work experience. It will be one year only end of July (and I double checked the start date entered), so if it is not one year yet why they counting the points?

He might not be working till that date and I will update the form if he finish working, but what will happen if I get ITA before that and he will not had been working full one year?

Many thanks

Thanx Asivad Anac, i really appreciate but will still digest it well.
I have been involved with Sales, Marketing and Business Development since 2007, thats 8years working experience. I graduated from the University in 2006 but didnt study Sales or Marketinbut
I have spent 7years in Wholesale and Retail Sales/Marketing but just 6months in Business Development.
My CRS score (with spouse) is 429.
Trying the 100point grid score system, i had a 76.

With your eye opener for me, i would just stick either to the NOC that is for Sales, Marketing and Advertising Manager (0611) or Retail and Wholesale Trade Manager (0621) using the criteria of my work responsibility and not title. Though, i have the intention of changing my career when i move to Canada.

Thank you and keep the good work for us the newbies.

I have been trying to solve my problem with regards to Job Match. I have entered in my profile one particular NOC but in my dashboard, it is showing different NOCs. It says there that the Job Match showing in the dashboard is based on the profile I have entered. Now I am confuse. Is this normal? What to do? Kindly help. Thanks.

Hey, can anyone help me out? I asked this question in another post but there has been no reply :(
I am applying through EE for CEC. and here is my question:

I was just filling out the forms online and ran into some issues that I am sure others have already ran into.
For my work experience? I know that only my experience on the PGWP counts. However, do I still enter all my internship experience in there as well? They ask for NOC codes and I don't think that NOC applies for when you are still in school?

Also, do they need my highschool (out of country) information if I have completed a bachelors degree in Canada? I did A levels. Will this give me extra points? I understand i would need some sort of verification of these results. Is it worth it if my points are 444?

Thanks! Please reply :)

Hi,

I am concerned about my CRS score

I have 9yrs of experience in IT industry

I have done my Bachelor's in Computer Science (B.Tech)

My role falls under 0211 Engineering managers category 'o'

My IELTS scores are

Writing 6
Speaking 7.5
Reading 9
Listening 9

My age is 29yrs

I dont have any Canada work experience

My CRS score is coming to 387, is that accurate? am i missing something?
Also would this score be enough to secure a PR?

Thanks,

Hi,

Please use this tool to find out your CRS score. Do not calculate it manually.

Hi,

I am from India and been working here since 3 years. But I have stayed in USA in the past for 5 years. So, should I get police verification from both India & USA or just India is enough as India is my country of birth?

Thanks
Sunny

Both countries. And any other country that you've stayed in for more than 6 months.

No, high school ECA is not required.

Thanks! Please reply :)
