We (me and my husband) have applied for EE. My husband is the main applicant and I am applying as spouse. We have started the process. The 1st part is over. Our scores got checked and we are in. We have paid for the ECA. They told us that once we receive the Reference No. against the payment, we will then have to submit our transcripts for ECA.

Can you tell us what are the next steps after ECA and the timelines till PR? And when can we be sure that we are getting immigration- is it after ECA or after ITA or what?

Need help, I am very confused. I had ordered a WES ECA (WES for CIC) last year and it was completed in March 2015. I immediately got the PDF, but I never received the paper copy. When I checked with them they said these routinely get lost and I should just order another report.

Can we just use the PDF for PR application or do I have to order the entire duplicate package again? How different is the hard copy from the PDF, especially since the ITA application is electronic? Please help.

You CANNOT use the PDF for submission because there will be no WES seal on it. You should scan the hard copy that you get through snail mail and upload that.

To order a duplicate copy, do the following :

1) Go to https://www.wes.org/ca/apply/xcopycic.asp
2) Enter your username and password
3) You will see the following -

Well.. Ontario returns the applications of applicants who have attached the online copy of the report. I am not sure what CIC will do. May be people who have submitted the online version and have gone past the initial review phase can comment on this!

Hi, download Schedule 4, fill it up, sign it and then upload to its allotted slot. You have to upload a LOE for Schedule 4A. I see that you're PNP, attached to the LOE your nomination certificate and upload. That would suffice.

I think in that case the application would undergo additional security checks. That's just my assumption though - I don't have anything to back this up.
