Dear friends,

I would like to hear your analyses/comments/predictions for the EE draws in 2023.

As of 22 Nov 2022, there are around 65,000 people in the pool who have more than 450 points.

Seems like Canada started bi-weekly draws and for each draw they invite around 4500 people from the pool.

How many people join the pool every month?

Do you think the cut-off will go down by around 450 in 12 months?

The last time the threshold was around 450 was in early 2019... which means that we then had almost a year of scores going up before Covid-related mess kicked in.
My thoughts:
- no one knows what will happen once the new system is implemented next year
- you can only try to estimate the cut-off level until the end of March and it's unlikely (almost impossible) it will be anything less than 470+

I don't think there's any way it will drop this far for FSW. Thousands of new people with high scores join the pool regularly.

Anyone with 450 points should either increase their score or look into PNP.
