A very big congrats to ASH B, have a happy life ahead....after how many days of medical, ecase updated to "medical received"? and how many days after did u get PPR and how many after did you get passport back...what is ecase saying now?

I am asking the same, as mine and my husband's medical done in August but our son's medical sent to Delhi 3 days ago, so nothing has been changed on ecase..

Thanks very much. Our ecas status changed to MR received after 1 week of medicals. We got PPR after that in less than a week. We sent our passports on 25th Sept. Our ecas status changed to decision made on 28th Sept and we got our passports back today. So overall very speedy after MR. Sydney VO is on fire. Let me know if You have any further questions. No, nothing yet..Ecas still the same..but they should have received medals in early August of this year. Will keep my eyes peeled and ecas tracker will eventually pick it up..thanks for asking!

No other request so far either

Thanks mate. You can call Medibank to find out what's happening with your medicals. I called them up after 4 days of my medical to get the tacking number for the courier. Hope you guys get good news soon. Best wishes.

Finally I got an email reply from Sydney office as follows:

“Please refer to the attached letter. Your MD has been faxed the additional medical report today (2/10/2012). It would be appreciated if you could please advise our office once your spouse has completed the additional medical tests with MD”.

Its good ... now hopefully the things will move forward quickly......

I don’t know how to add the timeline like you have done! We completed the medicals in late June 12 and now request for additional medical test. Everything went well and my doctor will send them this week.

Hi guys, Today we got our medical request and rprf request (given us 2 months to do). Also interview has been waived..
Does this mean we are getting close to the end?

Also does Sydney visa office always ask for a passport when issuing a visa?

thanks everyone, i guess we must be getting close!

ecase - on the outside it says "in process", then when i click on the inside it now says "decision made" (this has changed since mid sept)..i have read this can sometimes this can be negative but as we have been asked for our medicals and rprf fee then it must be ok??

I got passport request on 14 Sep, and sent mine to Sydney VO the next day. In their letter it was stated that the visa processing time is 5-10 working days. The problem is my passport expires in a couple of months and I’m worried about the delay. Does anyone have an idea of average processing time/ delays and how to deal with it?

i got passport request yesterday(9th).and they give me just 30 dyas to send them my passport
it is bit strange bcz this time they send me an e-mail not a sandard mail !!!
