hi all
i have received letter from medibank health solutions.the letter was regarding my wife's chest x-ray stating some abnormality and also indicate that there is no further information required for immi medical purpose.

doctor's comment on abnormalities :
the left lung appearsa little reduced in volume with mediastinal shift to the left side and probable slight elevation of the left hilum.the aetiology of these changes is uncertain.
there isn't any indication of active tb.

can some one guide me over here ???

Not sure what it means but I think according to the Law, MD must inform the patient if they find any abnormality in a medical test.

In my case, my wife had a mild Heart enlargement in her X-ray so MD asked us to come back for further test on the following day. After checked again he said she is perfectly all right and there is no need for further test and send them to Manila. This happened 3 months ago and result for my wife hasn’t been received by Sydney from Manila. I am still waiting for the additional test request from Manila!

yes you are rite.MD sent me the whole x-ray report which he is going to send manila(report says above all and also mention that there is no evidance of active tb).i hop by the time now he already sent it to manila...
the letter which i received from MD says there is no need of further medical test from our side for the immi purpose but we jst sending you the copy of report for you and your treating GP for leting know that there is some abnormality with your chest x-ray.

but my werry is that is it still a werry for me having above problem for getting PR visa for canada ???

if your ecase showing "medical results have been received" than you dont need to worry... your medicals are recomended by the DM and now your case is in final stages... Congratulations...

My ecase doesnt showing this line as they require some tests for my husband .. but the test results are clear and he need to go again for a CXR at Medibank after that they will submit it to Manila...My letter is also showing there is no sign of active tb... but they suspect might be my husband had an old tb ...where as he never had tb in his life... our GP saying... the test results are clear and you dont need to worry about it...

My ecas does not show “medical results have been received". That’s the problem for me. I think you don’t have to worry.

Finally I got an email reply from Sydney office as follows:

“Please refer to the attached letter. Your MD has been faxed the additional medical report today (2/10/2012). It would be appreciated if you could please advise our office once your spouse has completed the additional medical tests with MD”.

Last week I went to india to get done my son's medical, but DMP send his reports to Delhi not to Manila. I requested them but he said," he can't do that as he has strictly instructed by CIC that all medical reports done in India should be sent to Delhi.
So I need some advise from experts that I should let vo know about it?

I would recommend you to send an email explaining what happened. Don’t forget to quote your application number under subject. Email id attached for your reference.

A very big congrats to ASH B, have a happy life ahead....after how many days of medical, ecase updated to "medical received"? and how many days after did u get PPR and how many after did you get passport back...what is ecase saying now?

I am asking the same, as mine and my husband's medical done in August but our son's medical sent to Delhi 3 days ago, so nothing has been changed on ecase..
