This is so true. Visa stamping duration is also affected by the new rule (FSW29). Whereas before, the FSW38 receive their PP back in 3-4 weeks, it has bloated now to 6 months. At least that's the case for Manila VO.fariza said:

My letter stated that it takes anywhere between 5 to 10 days to "process" and i assume that the process referred to here is the actual printing and affixing of the visa labels. Somewhere else it mentioned that if you were collecting it in person they would call you when it is ready. Both these put together seemed to indicate that it wouldn't be ready on the day itself and depends on the mood of the VO on how quickly it is done.australiatocanada said:
