We went through similar thing with medical. We completed our medical in June and waited for 5 weeks for Medical Received to appear in the ecas and it never happened. So I emailed them and got a reply that they have received the results for me and my daughters but waiting for my wife's results. Only in October we received the additional medical for my wife and soon after the medical received appeared in the ecas.

I think they would have send your medical early once your husband's medical is cleared then medical received should appear.

Decision Made appeared in our ecas on 22-11-2012 and Today we received our passports with visas. Long wait finally over. We are planning to land in Toronto around April 2013.

Hello Friends,

Finally the medical test center (Melbourne) couriered the results to Manila today. I completed my test on 8th Nov and they just sent it today. Hopeless service and every week i called up, they gave me different reasons. The test center was like a fish market, so crowded. its such a rip off, even after booking, I had to wait 2 hours. so if anyone is going, make sure you take half a day off and go in early in the morning (before they open).

I have already booked my tickets for a holiday in december (15th), It will be great if i could get the visa before i go or else i have to go again to make an initial entry.

so does anyone know how long before i hear anything from the visa office in sydney?

I received an email from my agent which is a forwarded email from Sydney Visa office. I have my PR now. they have asked me to send photocopies of my passport along with my self-addressed courier, using which they will send my VISA sticker.

my PR is valid until Aug/2013 for the initial entry.

I don't think so i will get my VISA sticker before the 14th Dec, so in that case i might have to make another trip to Canada next year.

Congrats buddy ;D ;D , great news to start day. I think you can get your COPR before 14 DEC , send a copy of airline ticket with the copies of passport. VO will mail you the COPR surely before that.

This Forum was great help for me and I would like to share something for the people who might do search in the future.

We had couple of problem with our medical and I would like to share with the people.

1. Cardiac Silhouette CTR 52%

The above was picked up during the chest X-ray and radiologist send a copy of the result to us so we could consult it with our family doctor. The Manila Regional Medical Office did not asked for additional medical test on this regard. What this means is that “it appears the hart is mildly enlarged” and our family doctor asked us to do an Echocardiogram and the results is all clear.

2. Postnatal depression

My wife had a postnatal depression for 3 months after having our second baby due the sleep deprivation and our family doctor advised her to take some medication and she is perfectly fine after that. We told this during the medical and after 4 months Manila Regional office asked us to do additional medical in this regard. In that they asked for a full psychiatrist's report on her wellbeing. He gave us all clear and medical received appeared in our ecas soon after.

So good luck to you all I will try and reply as much as I can in the future.
