thanks for information, but i want to let you know that our procedure is based on following rule
Applicants need to ......
• Apply for police station concerning PC requirement.
• After all verification they issue the PC to ministry of foreign affairs
• Ministry of foreign affairs fax the pc to its respected embassy( e.g. He has faxed my PC to our origin embassy in London)
• Finally they are giving the reference number of Fax for applicants, so applicant need to send same reference number with the brief explanation to requested authority or embassy to inquire his PC from his origin embassy at that country
So you can imagine how complicated procedure is
Dear Brothers
Please do not confuse other about the Police Certificate, Just go to DPO Legal Branch (District Police Officer or old version SP Office) with your original passports DPO will issue you a temporally Police Clearance Certificate the same you have to take to SHO (your local police station) they will check your record and will stamp the same , after that you take back to DPO office again and they will issue the Police Clearance Certificate which will be mentioned that this is issue on the request of Canadian High Commission Islamabad and it is for Immigration purpose only and the validity is 90 days only, so the same (Original PC ) you should sent to CHC London along with your application.
it is same procures and mentioned on Check list of Visa Office Specific form, nothing to go through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at least that is not the way to send PC to Canadian High Commission, may be to other Europeans Embassy, I am writing this on 3-4 personnel experiences
