Congratulation!

Thanks all for your good wishes, we will all get there in the end, its just the waiting around for things to happen, especially where London VO is concerned, however they seem to have notched up a gear and cruising along. Good luck to everyone, keep us all posted on your progress.

Regards

Andrew

Dear forum members,

Please guide me... what are they normally requesting in PPR1 nowadays?

I have received an email from LVO requesting only passport copies for me and my spouse. There is no attachment, no pic request or any other document. And they haven't even asked for my kids' passport copies(one is 8 yrs and the other is under 1 yr).

Is this normal? Is this PPR1? please guide who have experienced the same.

Thanks in advance.

Dear sabif

Well it doesn't look like PPR1 because PPR1 has an attachment of 3 pages with it having Passport instruction & Updated Information form.

I'm copy pasting PPR1 attaching received by a friend of mine few days back. Check it out:

Dear Applicant,

Your application has reached the final stage of processing. Since Pakistani law does not permit the mailing of Pakistani passports from Pakistan to other countries, we will not ask you to submit your passport to our office in London. The issuance of your permanent resident visa will be a two step process.

Step 1: Follow the instructions in this letter to submit the requested items to our office in London. Once we have reviewed them, we will send you instructions for the second step within 6 weeks.

Step 2: Do not submit your passport to our Islamabad office until you receive instructions to do so. The Islamabad office cannot issue your visa before we instruct them to do so. (If you submit your passport early, it will be returned to you without a visa.) The Islamabad office can only mail passports to addresses in Pakistan.

If you will want your passports returned to an address outside of Pakistan, then this letter does not apply to you. Inform us immediately so that we can send you different instructions.

Step 1: Submit the documents listed below to our office in London. (These instructions do not apply to accompanying family members who are entitled to Canadian citizenship, because they will have to travel on
their Canadian passports.)

1. Clear photocopies of your passport and the passports of each accompanying family member. The passports must meet the Passport Specifications on page 2 of this letter because these are the passports you will use to travel to Canada.

2. The Updated Information Chart on page 3 fully completed for you and each accompanying family member.

Submit these three items within 45 days of the date of this letter (or the date of the email if you received this by email). All items for you and your accompanying family members must be submitted together in one package.

Mail or courier your package to:

PHEP Processing
Immigration Division
Canadian High Commission
38 Grosvenor Street
London, W1K 4AA
United Kingdom

Sincerely,
High Commission of Canada

May be your Visa officer wants to have a look at recent PP before sending/transferring your file to another section i.e PHEP who is actually responsible for issuing visa.

PP request clearly shows that your file is ready/done with final review & just PP copies are left to examine. Insha'Allah you'll get PPR1 within next few weeks.

Regards

Thanks for your prompt reply Ume Rayan. I don't know how long they will take in my case. This is getting really frustrating... :'(

Dear Ume Rayan and other senior members
We all family did our medical on 27 Feb 2013. New line appeared on 12th March that medical results have been received. I sent RPRF, PCC and Imm8, Background and Additional information form for my daughter. They specifically ask these forms for her. Now i got email on 2nd May that is
Dear Ms
In order to continue processing your application, we require the additional documents listed below. Please send clear legible photocopies rather than the original documents unless otherwise specified. If the documents are not written in either English or French, please enclose a certified translation with a photocopy of the original document.
-Updated forms which are available on our website:
• New Application for Permanent Residence IMM0008 form
• New Schedule A/Background Declaration form for you and your spouse. There can be no gaps in your personal history (Question#8) or address history (Question #12)
• New Schedule 4 Provincial Nominee form
• New Additional Family Information form IMM5406 for you and your spouse

Please forward all requested documents together to the address below within 60 days from the date of this email. If we do not hear from you within that period, your application will be assessed on the basis of the information on file and your application may be refused. Please allow four months for us to review incoming correspondence.
ALthough i had sent all documents last year in June when i applied CIO Canada but now they are asking these documents again. Is it normal if they are asking for these forms after medical?
Thanks

Dear hinaskp

Its quite normal. CIC recently made slight changes in previous forms thats why CHC, London is asking for updated forms & updated PCC from most of applicants before PPR1.

This email clearly shows that your medical are positively assessed & your file/application is ready for final review, just these forms are left to review. Insha'Allah you'll get PPR1 soon.

My medical was done on 28th Jan. My Ecas is still "In process" but they confirmed that we receive your payment & your medicals are under review. Hopefully I'll get PCC request in May & afterwards PPR1 during June :)

Don't worry, give them 4 months to review your medicals. Insha'Allah you'll get PPR1 during May as you already submitted your recent PCC along with draft. So no need to apply for GCMS notes.

This ATIP tool is for Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada or an individual currently present in Canada. Not applicable to us.

Good To Know.... All the best for you!
my case is under routine BG checks..... since many days.... Let's hope for the best
