Hi all senior and experienced members here..

I want to know if there is any difference between ECA done by WES or ICAS / CES??

Are there any such instances where ECA done by WES is different than ECA done by ICAS or by CES?

Though WES is much faster than the rest of two ECA bodies... but I am looking for other options than WES.

I have done provisional degree equivalency tool from wes website..
and it is showing my 2 years masters degree (M.Sc Chemistry) as equivalent to 4 years of canadian bachelors..

And for this reason, I am losing points in CRS for
1) education: losing 7 points as only one bachelors degree compared to two or more degrees
2) skills transferabiility: almost losing half points only because of one bachelors degree compared to two or more degrees (13 or 25 points against 25 or 50 points)

Friends.. if anyone has slightest of the knowledge about this.. pls share it here.

hello people,

If any one here who can answer this question.....

I am not sure about foreign education. As I had different issue. I had WES for my bachelors (4 years) and I am having 1 year studies in Canada (Post Graduate) so I selected 2 or more degree option. Or else if I have selected just bachelors degree in EE profile even I was loosing 20 points which makes a huge difference.

We used ICAS, but Ive heard that Wes is quicker. I did a bachelors in Economics and an honours in Risk and Im currently busy with Masters in Risk. Even though my bachelors and honours is recognised in South Africa as seperate qualifications, the ICAS report said it is equal to only a canadian bachelors degree , and I received 8 out of 10 for my education. My husband did his Phd and he received total recognition for it. We were satisfied with ICAS.

Do we have to send original degrees/transcripts along with the copies to IQAS? i have requested to institutions to attest the copies, seal it and send to IQAS directly. Do i still need to send the originals documents with copies?

NONE of these agencies ask you to send originals.
They ask for colored copies (soft).

Hi Munjal

I am very new to this Express entry thing and I was reading about getting mark sheets/transcripts from Gujarat University.

Can you shed some light regarding the process:

I completed my Bachelors from a college associated with Gujarat University. Did you request the marksheets and transcripts (both) from Gujarat university? Did you have to send any originals to them (coz I am in London and have all originals here)? Also, how did you send the degree certificate? separately or with the attested mark sheets?

Please if you can help on this matter that would be great
