Having or not a license to practice in Canada doesn't affect your score, however having it gives you a chance for PNPs.

Dear friend, as dentista that aren't yet licensed we dont get any provincial nomination? Not even Ontario?

Ahmed Adel, I'm not in that whatsapp group, but if you have any Qs you can ask me here and I'll be glad to help.

sutyfornow, I think Ontario is possible, but I am sure every other province isn't. I haven't tried for Ontario though cause its been closed since I got in the pool.

thank u dr do u think 470 points it's good for immigration and when the dentist arrive to Canada it's available to work as dental assistant or hygienist

470 is an excellent score and could be in the very next draw this wed, hopefully. But do try to improve your IELTS if scores start going up again.

After landing you can work part time jobs that dont require certification while you prepare to pass the NDEB exams, OR you can take the AFK test and if your score is impressive you can apply in the International placement program at any University, there are very few seats in it and its very costly and competitive but once you finish it you'll be equal to a Canadian Uni graduate, and NDEB will be a piece of cake. And once accepted in this program you can apply for a tuition loan using the PR card.

As for other dental jobs, each province has its rules, in Ontario you cant work hygienist without licensure, there are programs designed for these jobs, like a dental hygiene diploma and a dental hygiene bachelor's, the same goes for dental assistants.

This should help you a lot:

I was thinking we should have a whatsapp group for all the dentists who are trying to immigrate. People who are interested can message me their numbers. We should help each other get through. Also, it will be better if seniors can guide us.
Have you made a whatsapp group? If so can you add me on
