there is a vague info that below occupation gona no longer in 38 list

0111-- Financial Managers
0213-- Computer and Information Systems Managers
1111-- Financial Auditors and Accountants

got this from a orkut community n the source person said he got from a CSIC member

Its not fast but at the same some got very very fast.
What's your stage and share ur time frame pls.
 
I've applied for CIO on the 10th feb 2010. and waiting for AOR.

Have no idea about CHC colombo though.

My AOR from Colombo says that my application is in a queue and will take 18-24months to start processing. Any thoughts on the matter. I fall under the new system and my details are as follows,

Application to CIO sent 09/11/2009
AOR fro CIO on 10/02/2010
Full doc's sent to CMB-CIC 07/04/2010
ECAS status Received by Visa Office

Hi await,
I am not sure why is this taking that long. You fall under fast track. I am not sure if this is due to new changes of FSW. 18 -24 months..?? this is insane..
let me ask from a senior about this.

Hi,

I am still in the stage of collecting docs and intending to submit full docs in July. Would any changes in the FSW-rules affect me, if I delay the appllication to Colombo?

No. as far as I know, your application will be assessed according to the rules which were available at the time your application was assessed by CIO, NS. If you are still in doubt, please contact CHC. try to send your full application to CHC as soon as you can.

As I remember when they came up with reforms last time in 2008, The applicants from Feb 2008 got affected though the new rules came in Nov - 2008.

Do I sound right ?
