As I remember when they came up with reforms last time in 2008, The applicants from Feb 2008 got affected though the new rules came in Nov - 2008.

I am not sure about that as i wasn't dealing with FSW program by then. do not worry about those thing too much. get your all docs sorted out ASAP and send them to CHC. I am sure you things will be just fine for you. BTW, do you have any relatives in British columbia?

Check with Police department. they screw up things most of the times. Well, i remember you were asking about proof of relatives in Canada and thought your relatives might be in BC. I quiet know all most every sinhaleese in (vancouver) BC as I was cordinating many sinhaleese community functions during last couple of years in Bc, Canada. anyways, once again, do check with police headquarters.
