Guys, currently CRS has dropped to 452 but it was only meant for Canadian Experience Class. Do you guys think it can drop to 425-430 considering this global pandemic as less people are appearing for IELTS exams and other factors?

No. Look into the PNP programs.

There are far too many people in the pool with high scores. Also IELTS centers are reopening.

My CRS is 430 I am looking for ONIP and Alberta but for the last 8 months had no luck and it looks like this is going to be the case.

Are any chances the CRS going down? I am standing at 437 currently, what could be the chances of me getting an ITA?

If you are a FSW applicant then no. I don't think there's any chance.

No, I am a CEC applicant. I recently gave Ielts exam and I hope It would increase my CRS score to 451 or 459.

Hard to say if CEC will go that low. It might or it might not. Good plan to try to increase your score.

My friend's consultant told us that they think IRCC might increase the score to 480+ for their next no-program-specified draw. This really scared me.

Well they should fire that consultant then. There aren't enough people in the pool to bring the score to over 480. Unless they pick less than half of what they normally do. At the last draw there was less than 4000 people with scores over 470. A usual draw is 3-4000 people.

It's scary how many consultants don't seen to even understand basic math.

I guess their logic were assuming the FSW program has been temporarily paused for 2 months now and there were a lot more outland candidates awaiting to be invited. But yeah I agree with you after checked out the score ranking, 480 is a pretty high bar to set.

If you have a perfect IELTS score, 3 years work experience, masters degree and under 30 years, only then do you get a 481 CRS. Not many people will fulfill all those criteria. For score to be 480, they'll have to greatly limit the number of invitations issued.

What about 458 for FSW?

My IELTS expired. Should I rush to give it? Also is IELTS Academic score allowed in Express Entry. I forgot if it is. I don't think it is.

At this point 458 for FSW seems pretty much impossible sadly. You'll have to figure out if you can increase it somehow.

Why does 458 seem impossible? Because of the pandemic and the fact that they are not currently drawing?
