Any body applied for Study Permit from Saudi Arabia for May 2016 & still waiting

Assalam o Aliekum,

I am planing to apply at end of May for student Visa Sep 2016 Fall. Last time I applied with all necessary documents but CIC refused my visa application. Lets hope better for this time insha Allah.

Pleased to share this news that today have checked the status online. The status is "Approved", thanks to Allah. I applied on 4th April through visa office Jeddah, paper application. I linked my paper application to online last week. The application is approved exactly 21 days.

Thanks for your reply. I applied for MS Electrical & Computer Engineering from Lakehead University Ontario CA.
Reasons of rejection were;
1- Not enough funds to support your studies
2- Not enough funds to support your family there
3- Immigration status in your country of residence
4- Employment prospects in your country of residence

But this time I am going to apply from Pakistan Online Application. If any one knows about the procedure please let me know.

For paper you receive only final outcome result, but online you can know whether your application is in process. Please note there was no change in my application status online just received for last 20 days and yesterday approved.

Today I received a request from CIC for the original passport. Does that mean that my application has been approved?

"This is in reference to your application for temporary residence. A decision has been made on your application. We
require your passport to finalize processing your application
Passport requirements
• Please provide your passport or travel document, with a copy of this letter.
• There must be at least one blank page in your passport.
• Your passport must be valid for the duration of your expected length of stay in Canada.
• Please note that we cannot issue a visa beyond the expiry date on the passport."

Authentication error.

Hi All,

I Submitted my application on 20-July-2016 for study permit (paper based). Till now I did not received any SMS or email stating my docs received by CIC Riyadh, I also tried VFS website to track my application but its showing no record found.

Please advice if we receive any notification once application submitted/delivered to Riyadh CIC?
