Apart from above, do I require to submit my medical? Considering I visited Pakistan twice for one month each in last one year.

Medical request, I guess, will depend on visa officer's decision. Not everyone is required to have one, some gets visa without submitting it. You will be contacted through e-mail by the CIC.

Thanks for the information dear. One more thing, when one should expect call for medical? I mean, after how many weeks of visa application submission.

Anytime after the visa approval....they will ask you to submit medical from the panel physician of CIC.

Don't worry....Be Happy ;D

That was fast...you applied april 6 and now your pp has been requested...congrats!

Is it necessary to have all out academic certificate and degree copies attested?

Does the same apply to IELTS trf copy?

And, I'm working in kuwait and applying as a student. Do I need to provide a pcc from kuwait? The cic site states that only permanent resident applicant need to submit it.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/mid-east/kuwait.asp

Kindly advise

When submitting the documents for SP application, a photocopy of the original file will suffice, not unless it is stated in the checklist that (.... Document) needs to be notarized or true copy or attested.

Are you on a working visa or residence visa?

Thanks a lot. That's a relief. I'm working on a work visa. I've a valid work permit in kuwait and have been working here for the past 2 years.

As far as I know, PCC is only asked for sp application processes in Abu Dhabi if the applicant has any conviction/police-related issues in the past. But if you want to be on the safer side, try requesting for a PCC in Kuwait while on a working visa, and another one back home (if you went back to home country 6+ months ago) by authorizing someone on your behalf.

PCC falls under the optional documents in the UAE checklist, right?

Nothing has been mentioned about the PCC in the UAE checklist. But people have been giving it with their application. To quote the CIC, PCC may be required for a student or visitor but for a PR applicant it is a mandatory requirement. I'm going to apply for my home country PCC since I'm on vacation right now. Applying for the Kuwait PCC - I don't know if I should. Don't want to delay the application any further considering how long it takes to get the student permit issued from the Canadian UAE embassy.
