Hello All,

Wanted to check if anyone has any idea about visa applying in Abu Dhabi.

My son has got "conditional offer" from Concordia University for September 2014 intake
and we have already applied for CAQ to Quebec but need to know whether we can apply
for visa with conditional offer once we get CAQ or we have to get "non conditional" offer
to apply for visa?

Has anyone got any idea about this situation and if yes then please do share.

He is currently studying in University of Wollongong 2nd semester and
transferring to Concordia in September 2014.

He has been asked to ensure that he meets the condition of minimum of 65%
in maths and 65% overall in all the subjects in current semester.

hi there i have applied for my study permit on 12th march 2014 then i received an e mail to submit my passport on 21st of April to vfs abu dhabi office i am still confuse is my visa approved or refused?today is 28th of April no reply!

Congrats! If they ask you for the passport means the visa is approved. Have you taken aramex courier service from VFS?
If not, you will soon receive an email saying that your passport is ready to collect.

Where are you from? Could you share what all documents you submitted?
 
thanks parveen for ur reply i am from pakistan why i am confused because they did not mention any thing in that letter that my visa is approved or not they said we need ur passport for processing ur application. hope for the best!and do any one knows that how long they will keep my passport because its already 5 days over and i submitted my passport by my self because its near to my house

Usually they return the passport 7 days or more after requesting it. Don't worry, it'll be returned to you, hopefully, with a letter of introduction and other documents for the study permit :D
 
Hi, every one there thanks god i have just got my letter of introduction and inshahAllah soon i will get my passport i have submitted my full application, letter of offer,letter of acceptance,fees receipt,proof of funds,study plan,sponsorship letter and previous study records sorry if am mistaken u can go and request the check list from canada visa office abu dhabi.thanks every one
 
When one should expect medical call? I mean, after how many weeks?
 
Apart from above, do I require to submit my medical? Considering I visited Pakistan twice for one month each in last one year.

I live and work in UAE, but presently my organization sent me to singapore to work on a project which will last one month before i can return back to UAE. Since I have all my documents with me here. Is it ok if I apply online and do my biometrics at the nearest visa office in Singapore. Then when I am back I can do my medical

You can apply online from CIC website of U.A.E from anywhere. Biometrics and medical is later.
