Hello house,
Has anybody ever got a refund for a rejected application and what was the time interval like?

I just got the refund this morning. On my credit card.....


I guess I'd better submit my new application... Didn't get an answer yet from the CSE...

Anyway, at least you have your your new ITA - so better get this is complete and ready to go in the coming few days!

Just curious to know,

If an application is to get rejected, at what stage do you guys think a person would know the application is rejected?

From being around this forum, i have noticed that anyone getting three lines on ecas has to play a waiting game or submit additional docs/ atten an interview. I haven't seen any rejection cases. I am sure plenty of people are getting rejected so i am wondering when does this usually take place?

1. The refund was after how many weeks?
2. what if a new EE profile is created and b4 another ITA your old EE profile is restored? how do you reconcile that?

1. rejected May 19th, refund paid by CIC June 9th - got it on June 11th.
2. no one knows that.

Haha, guess they're not reopening your application. What's worse you probably missed something again on your new application and it'll get rejected, as they don't tell you if you missed anything from your original application apart from PCC

I am awaiting for the next round of invitation and, I am an inland applicant.

Meanwhile, I was wondering how does the timeline go for AOR, Med Request, PCC? Because, I am expecting another draw this month and, I will be away for a month in July. During that time, I won't be able to reply/send any documents to CIC if they want. So, just want to know whether I should apply right away or I should wait until I come back.

when you get the ITA you have 60 days to upload everything, pay and submit your application. No one will ask you anything until you submit it.

Hi All,

Firstly I thank everyone for sharing your own circumstances only thought its right I'd share mine. You guys are doing a great job my sharing to help us all.

April 17th - Completed eligibility received code
April 17th - Completed Express Entry profile
April 18th - Received ITA under FSW score 454
May 7th - AOR confirmation
May 20th - Update received medical passed
May 26th - Update received file is cancelled (reason I studied distance education from USA while residing in India) they wanted a US PCC. I explained my circumstance mentioning this is incorrect, hoping for the best
May 26th - Sent a case specific inquiry (no update till date)
Jun 9th - received refund (via credit card)
Jun 11th Sent another case specific inquiry (no update till date)

May 29th - Completed another Express Entry profile (back in the pool awaiting ITA)

I would like to know has anyone who received the refund had their file reopened, is this even possible ?
