CELPIP. But you can only take CELPIP in Canada.

Just like Scylla said - CELPIP is another available choice for those IN Canada. If you live abroad, IELTS is the only one.

100% NO.

Even Americans that were born and raised in the United States has to take IELTS or CELPIP if they want to immigrate to Canada.

No - you can't. The test is mandatory. If you apply for FSW without including language test results - your application will be automatically refused.

If you have the strong English skills, then you should have no issues getting a good IELTS score.

Spend some time practicing the IELTS practice tests and materials that are available for free online. With a little bit of practice, it's not that difficult to achieve the minimum scores required.

Don't apply without IELTS results - it will get returned/rejected for sure.

If you're finding it that difficult - then you should postpone your plans to immigrate and work on improving your English language skills first. Strong English skills are quite important for being successful as an immigrant once you arrive in Canada.

Not necessarily. For me writing with hand is difficult part for IELTS. Currently writing by hand is may be just 1% of my time.

when I had applied for UK University for student Visa , they waived my IELTS , because I got over 85 % in English in 10 & 12

But in case of Immigration this is not possible.

No - only IELTS or CELPIP will be accepted by CIC as the official proof of language evaluation.
