This means that my medical results are valid till Feb 2015, and that vo shall conclude my case and issue visa before that date.

My question is for applicants who have given extension on MR, how much time it took them to get PPR after the extension.
Hope it's clear.

Hi,
As another update, I just received by email the PPR, they mentioned that they must receive it within 30 days.
They also asked for 2 passport size photos and a separate paper containing my height and the color of my eyes.

Have a good night.

Hi,

Thank you, and I am pasting the section related to sending the passport below:

HOW TO SEND YOUR PASSPORT(S)

You must send your passport by commercial courier. You cannot/cannot send your passport by regular mail. It is your responsibility to select a commercial courier company. You must also prepay a return shipment by courier, so that we may return your passport to you, once the visa is affixed.

Your passports MUST be received at this Embassy no later than 30 days from the date of this correspondence.

It is really weird , after almost 4 years of waiting and hoping and now that my application is at its final stage
I am starting to feel a bit scared , scared of a new life , a new start , to leave everything behind and start all over again . Please tell me if it's normal to feel this way , as much as I am hoping to get the immigration , please dear forum friends share ur thoughts

It's perfectly fine. Your feelings are reasonable and normal. I had the same feeling when I started over when I first came to the USA and every day it gets better and you use to it.

Hi, if its something abnormal in feeling this way, there is two of us. After so many years of dreaming about Canada, now when it's almost done, I'm really scared to start all over again. But you know what? I'm very happy this waiting time is close to end, finally we can start to live our life, to settle for good, to organize our future the way we want and not the way we need to fit in the waiting situation.

So take big breath and think positive. :D

Thank you and good luck with ur PPR dear nieto

I shared already the updates on my application, but I wanted to share the updates on the CIC system so that you can know what to expect in case you are going through the same process, what is new is line number 9:

1.We received your application for permanent residence on December 16, 2009.

2.We started processing your application on May 1, 2014.

3.We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on February 11, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

4.Your application and supporting documents were received by the Warsaw office. They are pending review.

5.We transferred your application to the Warsaw office on February 18, 2010. The Warsaw office may contact you.

6.We transferred your application to the Warsaw office on December 12, 2011. The Warsaw office may contact you.

7.Your application was reviewed and we started processing on February 22, 2012.

8.Medical results have been received.

9.A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

I noticed that they are updating the CIC in timely manner once there is something new to add, so unlike before, checking the CIC more frequently might prove beneficial.

Thank you and have a good day.

Thank you Hareega for the update.

Do you still use the old file number or you are using the new one?

Thanks

Hi, I am using the new one.
I am not sure if using the old one will give the same result, I will try and get back to you.
