Answer to some questions regarding OOPNP

Hi friends,

I just call Opportunities Ontario. Here are the summary:

1) There is no minimum wage requirement for Ontario Express Entry. The minimum wage requirement in appendix 2 at the bottom of application guide is only for International Student/Foreign Worker stream and not for express entry.

2) CEC applicants don't need to have POF

3) Even if you have to prove POF, your money does not have to be in your bank account for the past six months

4) You need to send your official language test result. Copy is not accepted (even though the guide clearly says copy!)

5) Bank statement can be copied online by you and it does not need branch's stamp

6) You can apply if you are on implied status, but your application will be finalized only after you send them your new work permit

Also one more thing send them original ECA report too if its applicable to you.

And yes POF requires final balance above LICO income.

So I am thinking to wait for this friday and if no draw then I will apply on saturday....

CIC doesn't ask for IELTS report usually because they can check using the TRF number. In any case, if you're sending original to Ontario, keep a photocopy for your records and ask IELTS to send you additional TRF - there is a nominal charge for that.

You can request multiple copies of IELTS from the agency where you gave the test. It may cost you around $20 per copy.

That's a good question. Do you, or know anyone who, have their permit expired but have TRV? Can I apply for TRV while I don't have my permit?
