Annual quota for FSW is 55000 which includes MI-2 and MI-3 as well, i don't understand how will they clear 136000 cases in two years.

Exactly this the point. and Mr. Kenney has no answer to this

MI2 and MI3 are not that much, for now this year's is 2900 and at last it will be 6000 * 2 = 12000 for two years
55000*2 - 6000*2 = 80,000 remainning fot the older files and 136,000 - 80,000 = 56,000 files will remain and needs more effort from them to be finalized in 2 years

hellow,

dont forget pre c-50 applicants(pre Feb-2008). Visas to these applicants along with MI1, MI2 and MI3 would be granted through 55000 visas.

Regards,

Unfortunately some of the cases will be rejected the average rate of rejection is 50% and at London office last year it was much higher. >:( >:(

Dont forget 55000 are number of visas issued not no of application processed, thus 2900*3 or say 6000*3 =18000 for next two years it will consume 36000 visas out of 110000 and yet MI is not cleared so include that also. Wat about AEO cases and pre fab cases ......lot of calculation. Jason kenney can solve this riddle.

Mr Kenney should present the amount of Interest his Department is getting from the Application fee of the pending applicants.

If you have something to say send it to don.davies@parl.gc.ca the last meeting of the house committee on immigration is tomorrow. They are focussing on the backlog.
