thanks,but like what ?
You must have had bills being sent to your appartment under your name or your spouse name. She must have had something too. Pay slips, electric bill. Mobile bills. You bought something online and it was under your name with your adress and your spouse had something similar too. Try to find something. In my head if somebody tells me I lived with my spouse for 14 mo ths but we have nothing in common, I will say this is fake. So imagine how suspicious the officer will get if you provide them with no documents!

Does anybody see the following message on their profile when you log into your CIC to check your application status? this part was not there before yesterday and I think it was added yesterday.

Biometrics:
  • Biometrics Number:
  • Date of Biometrics Enrolment:
  • Expiry Date:
I want to know if this means that now we have to travel to Turkey once for fingerprint and second to hand in our Passport to stamp the visa if we don't decide to leave our passport with a travel agency.

I also saw a message on CIC website that says:

We plan to expand our fingerprint and photo requirements
Starting July 31, 2018, you may need to give your fingerprints and photo (biometrics) each time you apply for permanent residence if you are from Europe, the Middle East or Africa.

thanks
I landed October 2017, and just out of curiosity went check that on my account and it was there for me too. I assume, there is an automatic update for everyone in the regions you mentioned

thank you, roughly 53 days will be next week, not too bad, but there have been cases who received PPR earlier!
Didi you receive your PPR?
not yet.

June 19 plus 2 months is gonna be Aug 19. In other words, for a normal case, by Aug 19, 2018 you will get PPR. This is just a guesstimate though.

You just answered yourself. I personally think you should write a cover letter and explain all these in details that in UAE, unlike in Canada, men are in charge of all payments therefore, you have none of the proofs mentioned here to show you lived together. However here are the consents of our parents (for example) that we lived together for 14 months. hope it helps...

Check this link to see if you need to give biometrics. It depends on your country of nationality and if your application was received before July 31st. Looks like majority of Europe applicants that applied before July 31st don’t need to provide them. I also got that message in my GCkey but for my country it says that I don’t need to give biometrics.

unfortunately, my spouse lives in Iran so technically it means we are applying outside Canada. and it says we need to give our biometrics because we applied before July 31st and our application was received before July 31st.

For those who applied from outside of Canada (Living in Iran) & their applications received before July 31 the CIC website for Biometrics says:
You may need to give your biometrics depending on when we received your application.

Therefore one can conclude that you may OR may not need Biometrics.

When was your application received?

My application was received on May 22nd and on July 11th they sent me an email saying my application is now at Ankara VO.

However, this is what I see:

Answer: You may need to give your biometrics depending on when we received your application.

If we received your application before July 31
You need to give your biometrics if you’re between 14 and 79 years old, even if you gave them to us in the past in support of an application for a visitor visa, study or work permit.
