Yeah, there is possibility, that repeatitive requests are due to an officer's mistake.
Wish you all the best,

So, i am quite sure it has nothing to do with the PCC expiry. There could be two reasons as Strength 2 said - the new officer has no clue, or the worst case scenario they themselves lost it. Or even worse case that the courrier Service misplaced it. Regarding your case specific enquiry, i guess they take like 5 to 15 days, that's what i have heard.
Pooya, did you track online your PCC delivery confirmation?
I know call Centre is of no help since the file has been transferred to VO, still do you wanna give it a shot?

Another question to you both especially Pooya, did the first PCC request email also said that if we do not get the requested Docs in 2 months time from now we will process your file as is? Because mine said so. So, if that's the case for you too, it is quite strange that they ask again for the PCC because it simply means that they themselves are not aware of their own initial email. And if at all it is true that the Iranian PCCs are good for 3 months that's quite unfair of them to not to process the file and asking a PCC again after 3 months... and again if at all this is true in that case they shoul dprocess IRan cases really fast!!!!!!

Hello Everyone, I have applied for my wife who is iranian under outland sponsorship. The Mississauga office received our app on Oct.24/2016 and I got AOR1 on November.11/2016. Now waiting for SA. I was just wondering if anyone from Iran has applied for a visitor visa while their sponsorship application is in process and what was the outcome? Any tips anyone would have regarding applying for a visitor Visa? I have a medical surgery in December and want to have her here with me. Whats the chances of her getting a visitor visa?

Thanks everyone

Yes, there an individual from April who applied for a visitor's visa for his wife and he got it. She was from Iran. It won't hurt if you apply for one. She just has to show strong ties to Iran. Good luck.

This part was in both emails in my case

Please note that if you do not comply with this request within 60 days of the date of this letter, your application for permanent residence in Canada will be assessed on the basis of the information already before the officer. Failure to provide the requested documents could result in the refusal of your application.

Did they send you the same form letter as last time, beginning with "In order to complete the processing of your application..."?

Nice job PMC92. I really do not understand the logic of how they process applications. It's almost as if they are picking apples from a tree and just hoping you are one of those apples. There are apps from December 2015 and so on that are still waiting...ouch.

Thanks! Baher_2014 had his interview in Ankara today and I hope we hear from him soon. :)

Congrats to Pooya2016!!

I honestly don't understand how that works, seems like they just pick whoever they want and ignore their timeline :(
It's unfair.

Congrats Pooya, now you can ignore my question :)...
Awesome news..So Strength 2 may be you are next!!!
Thanks pMC for updating the list..
