Hello all,

I have a general question. Why is it that in the spreadsheet some people got their PPR after 5 or 6 months, whilst others are waiting for almost a year without even change to "in process"? What is the difference? Is it because of some documents needed to make application complete, or some other reasons?

Can any of more senior people in the group answer this, thank you (And obviously by senior I mean senior in application, not in age )

I am not a senior in this but just to give an idea - when an applicant is not "in process" yet and is been waiting for a long time (+8 months), chances are that she\he might be asked for an interview. Or an interview might have already been scheduled. For instance; Emma was scheduled for an interview.

@ Emma: Has your husband had the interview already? Hope it went all good.

Thank you Mrs. KOR for your comment. Is it true that the purpose of interview is to make sure about the relationship? And if the officer is confident about that, there would be no interview? Or there could be some other reasons for interview?

Has any of you changed your phone numbers during the PR process?
My husband has changed his mobile phone number and we informed CIC Ankara by sending an online inquiry (via https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=ankara&_ga=1.120995592.1896149246.1370730794 )

Is this enough for them to update the phone number in his records? Should we have send an email to ankara-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca or called the CIC call centre instead?? Can anyone who went through this please advise. Thank you!

exactly 5 months after we submitted the application ))thanks Mrs Korea...hope you finish as soon as possible cause i really know how is to miss your loved ones.....The mail came only to me such as i was representative ......but i was looking and my husbands mail to be sure )

I am very happy for you! Tebrikler!! 5 months is a very good timeline. Finally you can start planning your move to Canada I guess that is the fun part of this so far painful process

teşekkürler ))i have told several times in the forum that my life in Turkey is very hard such as we live in a place that is not good unfortunately there is a lot of trafıc you must work 14 hours every day to win just 1200 tl....although i am with my husband it has been a very difficult period for me really hard.....soooo yes i feel very happy i am ready to start and jump from my happiness )))yaaa Mrs Korea really i send you all my best wishes and my positive energy because i know you are far from him and you miss him a lot.

i think we will go here in İstanbul....there is no reason to send it to ankara if we can go here in person))ankara too far if we cant submıtt it here then we will send it by courier
