was there any application assignment due date on the latest GCMS notes you got? My last note from Dec, showed application assignment date of Jan 19th. I think this was associated with the police certificate request they sent on Nov 15th. But nothing happened till Jan 30th and I ordered another one on Jan 30th. I hope to get it any time this week.

Well as the time passing, i got to realize that we are not the only one from June,2016 applicants. I honestly think that VO is processing applications from 2017 faster, because of 12 months deadline. And the rest of us from 2016 has to wait, because our processing time was 15 months.And if you are sponsoring your husband, it takes forever. I am already thinking of hiring a lawyer, not sure if it will help.
I send numerous e-mails to Ankara-no reply. MP- did not get much answers either. I will get in touch with them mid.March again, GCMS notes- at least gave some answers. I did order another GCMS notes again. Just sit and wait. Government did not try for us to be honest.

Hi. I applied for my husband on november 2016, they requested an interview in Ankara on February 22. But they yold him in the interview they will email him.
I want to know if anyone has been in same situation and how long does it usually takes untill we hear back?

Yes, my notes were showing application assignment due date- January 21,2017.He had interview on December 8,2016 just a week before Ahmelia's23 husbands, but we haven't heard anything after the interview. We just have to pray ladies. That's all.

they just called my husband for an interview, what does this mean ? they told him on the phone there is no documents missing and to bring the interview request, bit the email is asking for things we had already submitted. I'm not sure what to do

Hey, it's very individual, you should order GCMS notes to know what's going on. As for me and manitobagirl, it's been more than 2 months after the interview and we are still waiting...

You must bring all requested documents in the original format, it doesn't matter that you've already submitted copies, they want to see original documents and a few copies. Pay careful attention to the list of documents (original or copy) they requested to bring and bring everything and even more. They can ask him to show any of those documents, they might not even ask but you MUST be prepared.

Just follow your invitation letter and bring all documents listed. It doesn't matter whether you're missing something or not, interview is about eligibility, they have reasons to why they called in your husband. Don't worry, they usually ask how you guys met, your hobbies etc. You must follow the letter they sent you.

I got my GCMS notes ordered March 30th, Notes are from Feb 11, got them today. It has not much information except showing security screening under activity 1,2,3. The application assignment is due March 24th. So I guess now I have to wait till March 24th for the security to finish.

I hope you will get your PPR request soon, because your file just a week ahead of ours.

Thanks. I don't think anything will happen before Mid April. If they look at my file March 24th it will still take them some time to finalize it.

I am really stressed out today; this waiting time is becoming unbearable! CIC Mississuaga received our application on May 15, 2017. All we received is an AOR from Mississuaga at very beginning, approval of sponsor saying they have sent my husband's application to Ankara, and last week a message which briefly saying we have linked our application to MyCIC and that they are working on application and to check you MyCIC often incase we need anything. I don't remember the exact wording now. It was odd because we linked our app to MyCIC on December 21st.

Anyhow; what worried me is that we have passed the normal processing time which is 9 months from Iran. However, still no NEWS, No Requests, and no nothing... no change in our status! Has Anyone experienced the same?

Hmm you definitely should have heard at least something from them..
Since you linked your application to MyCIC, you should be able to see your status and all the assessments. Does it say that your background check is in process?
You should contact MP as I previously explained as soon as possible.

I think we have three applicant now Smirio, Sara Joon and myself with processing time passed.

request GCMS notes and contact MP and send specific enquiry, all the three and after you do these you cannot do anything but to wait for email and info from GCMS notes, etc.
