Hi everybody, I am new in this forum, I am about to ask a question from Iranian users in this forum, I am wondering if anybody has any experience with Dr. Reza Farrokhi PP in Tehran, we had a horrible experience with this guy, very abnormal behaviour since he assumed himself as the most important person in immigration Canada!!! we were warned before about him but we thought that people's experience were only a personal and incidental events. he put a long hold( around 2 month) to send our medical results to medical office and eventually sent them incomplete, a kind of childish jealousy to his patients who are going to Canada and apparently he regretted why he was not able to apply as an immigrant( it was clear in his words ). after a long delay and charging us an arm an leg, we managed to change our PP and everything went smoothly. cic must take his licence back, he has lots of complications in his jobs.
Hi Akbar,
Sorry to hear that you had such a bad experience. We had a great experience with Dr. Farrokhi. Everything was done in a timely matter, and my husband received the Medical report in the email as he had promised him. The other good point about him is that he was always available by phone whenever we had a question to ask.
Regarding the fee that he charges, he charges what any other PP charges. Nothing extra!
I hope everything else in your process goes smoothly. Good luck!

As an Iranian whose parents experienced 8- year war, totally sympathize with Syrian refugees and I hope they can find a safe destination for their life soon. Hopefully the new change innUK refugee acceptance for Syrian can speed up their relief.
I hope this too! Syria is such a beautiful country and has the most beautiful people. So sad..

I have a question. In the GCMS notes there is a expression "due date" and all of my due dates were around September, my notes were printed in December which is two months after the due dates however none of the "due dates" started. Does anyone know the meaning of "Due Date"? I hope everyone gets his/her PPR soon :)

Good question and I am not 100% sure. Due Dates are also known as "bring forward dates" - the date the visa officer should next look at your file or the date when something requested by the visa officer to applicant must be received (example: visa officer ask to send in a document and gave you 30 days to do so. The next bring forward date would be that 30 day mark). Before my husband's file went in process some of the due dates were actually marked one year later from when sponsorship was approved (so due date: 14 June 2014). After we went in process they were marked basically one month later from the in process date.

Maybe some one else can help with more info.

A quick question to make it clear for me,
For ordering a GCMS note, as SooMazi described the process, the form http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5744E.pdf needs to be filled and submitted. Who would be the "Designated Individual"? who would be filled as the first person (Sponsor or Sponsored)? Both Sponsor and Sponsored need to sign, right?

I think they mean: "All online services will be unavailable from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern standard time, on February 1, 2014, in order to update everyone's file to in process and decision made" haha ;)

Dear friends,

It's just so frustrating to wait for soooooo long and not knowing if anyone is working on our applications or not. I hope we all get some good news soon.
I was wondering, if anyone knows hiring an immigration lawyer would help speed up the process? Do they really followup with the VO on behalf of their clients on a regular basis?

I also have another question regarding GCMS note. Is there any difference between requesting information by email or CD? Do these format provide the same amount of information?

Thanks

SubZero, you should not take into consideration the due date, it can be changed at any time, the thing you should look for is the Validity date especially on the medical. My husbands validity date was extended and that is what he had also when he was given the visa!

NOTHING will speed up the process sorry! You should request information by email because I think CD would take too much time to receive...email is 30 days!!!

distcom, "designated individual" is the sponsor person and when you fill out the application, at the beginning they ask for Full name and birthdate , this is for the sponsored person! Hope it helps! The sponsored person should sign since he/she is the one giving you authorisation to have the information on his application (on his behalf ).
