my friend did you get the point there is a discrimination for visa quota for 2013 as follow i want you to anderstand it and get the point to your MP
Dear applicant of parents sponsorship, parent application backlog at ankara at end od Dec. 2012 is 1698 and visa quota for 2013 is 300, bout backlog for New delhi visa office is 9713 and allocated visa quota is 5230, for china (bijing ) backlog is 1865 and visa quota is 3000, and this can continue, there is a discrimination for visa quota specificly for ankara visa office please ask your MP for this matter and send message for kenney in twiter . all of us should complain about this unfair ditribution of visa quota for 2013

I understand you are eager to have your parents join you in Canada but it will still be some time before their applications are finalized. From the current timeline their file will not be complete until summer of 2016. That said, it may take less time as CIC is working on reducing the back-log and processing time.

Unfortunately, there is no action that can be taken at this time aside from waiting for the process to be completed.



Seriously I'm speechless :-X
All I know is that she's not gonna get my vote next time...............

Okay, I have found the MP that is responsible for my city. How do you guys communicate with an MP ? By mail or via email ? How long does it takes for them to reply ?

I did order GCMS notes once and noticed that they had sent me a letter. I never received the letter. I just notified the Ankara office letting them know that I did not receive the letter. They sent the letter immediately.

You are probably mistaken with sponsorship and PR application
The one you are seeing is probably for Sponsorship part where they approved you and sent the decision, the file then goes to Local VO where the process goes by

APPLICATION RECIEVED with the following notes
Application Received
>> Then if Meds are passed you will see
Application Received
Medical Received
>> When the file is complete
Application Received
Medical Received
Decision has been made

OR if they need further paperwork, it will be

IN-PROCESS with the following notes
Application Received
>> If they require more paperwork
Application Received
We started processing [Name of Principal Applicant ] on [ Date ]
>> Then if Meds are passed you will see

My file was transferred to LVO( Ankara) on May/14/2012.
I've been waiting to receive a medical request since then!

Order GCMS notes ( see my signature ) as I had missed mine due to incorrect email. I am not sure sure how long they take, ( as not enough data for Ankara LVO ) but always keep on top of your file to see whats going on

Give you file info, status, fees info, notes about officer feedback, pending items, meds/criminality/security, outgoing/incoming correspondence - lot of details
