Validation for medical exams is one year, so I think after medical sent, it shouldn't be more than one year waiting time! what do you think?

Yes, you are right ! The results of medical tests are valid during 12 months, so they should issue a visa for your parents during 12 months. Give a call to CIC call center. Hopefully, they will be able to provide you more information. Keep us posted !

P.S. How many members of your family do you sponsor ?

Hello all,
My parents sent their Medical to Ankara and I (which sponsored them) I already paid for Right of permanent fee also,
all send out on early Feb. 2013. Is anybody know when we going to accept request for passport. their passport will expire soon, and they have super visa on them too. I don't know it is good time now to renew their passport or not, and how long you think its take time from Ankara visa office to ask for passport? Is any body know please?
e-case still says in process.

Medical would expire after one year, then they have to land in Canada before their medical expires.My friend is waiting for about 5 months but all cases are different.Hopefully
you will hear the good news soon.

P.S. How many members of your family do you sponsor ? I sponsor my dad, mom, and my baby sister which she was in school when i applied, so she was dependent of my parents.
so total 3 persons.

I applied Dec 2008 and file was transfer to Ankara on August 2012 and start file on November 2012.
My sister is under my parents file. She is going to apply for student visa. Did anyone had the same situation?

Applied on December 2008. File transfer to Ankara July 2012. E-case show prosing on November 2012.
My sister is a dependent children in my parents file she got a self funded admission from Dal university in Canada do you think she can get student visa since has another immigration file on process.?

I was almost on the same boat like you, so I gave a call to the CIC call center and they explained me that the temporary visa and sponsorship are two different programs and there is no influence. I suggest you to give them a call as well and verify...

I called CIC call centre today about my case which i mentioned above, they said if your parents re-new their passport their super visa ( which is good for 10 years ) will be expire, and i have to start all over agin to get super visa for them, I think their answer doesn't make sense at all. I can understand super visa or any visa will be expire at least till expire y date of passport, but they can renew their it again in new passport if visa good for 10 years without any resent all doc.s & paper work again. I don't know. pls senior could you let me if you know anything about my case pls!

Yes, but with the letter they said one month before expire your passport send your new one for re do it.
I have to ask my parents about content of that letter. I am worried caz they did medical as well and i paid Right of permeant fee, they should ask for passport for final visa soon and I don't know when, but if their passport has just few months left, they will be in panic to come to canada with short notice, that is why i like they re-new their passport asap, and the other hand I don't want they loss their super visa too.

I would recommend you to call CIC in a few days again and to speak with another agent. Some agents provide wrong information.
But IMHO, your parents should renew the passports ASAP in order to get a permanent visa in a new passports. In this case they won't be in panic and would have some time before they come to Canada (as you know they must arrive to Canada before the expiration date of medical test)...

Did not get anything yet... Do you know ehrn they send the medical exam request via email, does the status changes or stays the same ("in process") ?

As far as I know it will stay the same and when they ask for passport it will be changed.
