Hi everyone. If you have a PR application being processed by the Amman office, please add your details to the following spreadsheet so that we can track the progress. Adding your details helps each other see what is happening with the Amman VO

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ukPQkMd8eGxhMw3E8xmcUeo6sjsoY1osGDF7Xeiwwh4/edit#gid=658388151

there are a few different threads / discussions for those whose applications are being processed in Amman, but they don't have a lot of traffic except for this one http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t94810.0.html

Maybe we should all gather at this general thread? I will cut / paste this message into the older threads so everyone can join us here.

C.

FYI, you can use the filter view on the 2015 spreadsheet and it will give you just the Amman applications:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1FAYZyQgud1lzp7fM28i2O8ZrfbMAxdTc_t7_fiwI6ak/edit#gid=658388151&fvid=1151052627

Also, I've editted dedoz in 2015 to match this one.
Thanks for correcting the VO for me. Now when I go to the 2015 original sheet, I can not see the filters. arent they enabled by default?

Btw when i click on your link above, i get the filter set to ottawa, when i change it to anything else I get the error:

There was a problem

Hey Masriixo, I just check Amman spreadsheet and see that you received the AOR2, how did you receive it? from what i read, in most cases, Amman VO wont contact you before a year after the file is transfered from M-CPC.

One more thing, the sheet says your ecas shows medical received, again from what I read Amman VO wont show medical received, because they know that in most cases they are going to request an updated medical.

Hi Dedoz, Im not sure what AOR2 means but Ill tell you what it says in CIC

We received XXX XXX application for PR on April 15th
Medical Results have been received

What it doesn't say in CIC is that my case has moved to Amman on May 28th.

My cousin who also applied to PR for her husband has her CIC say In Process, where as mine still says Application received.

If it helps my husband is Iraqi and has refugee status so I dont know if that changes anything in terms of different updates?

I see! AOR2 is the confirmation you get from Amman VOthat your file was received. but it seems that like everyone else you didnt get it. regarding the Medical, it is good that for ecas shows that the medical was received, mine shows only application received.

for your Cousin since it shows "In progress" that means that waiting for an officer part is over and some one is looking at the file. is his/her file also in Amman VO? when did he/she applied?

Np! Is her file processed in Amman or Cairo?

if it is Amman then that is really good news, before it was taking around a year for the status to change to in progress. Anyways we have to wait and see. good luck to you.

It's being processed in Amman. Also dont quote me on the in process! I havent actually seen it and she might be lying or misinformed! I dont want to get anyones hopes up.

Although I just got off the phone with CIC and the agent informed me that 24 months was average and it might be finished much sooner (whatever that means)

I've started compiling a historical list for Havana (my VO) from old threads and then checking all the posts of the users with the same VO. It's slow work and Havana is another small office.

I noticed a historical thread for Amman, where you could pull up similar information. If it has a consistent format, we could expand the 2015 spreadsheet backwards to capture this historical information. If anyone is interested in the trawl let me know and I'll help you get started.

I have done the same for Amman and post it in one of Amman threads. It was a very interesting experience reading how things progressed for people, and how they were complaining and waiting. to be honest i felt sad how Amman Vo let people suffer for 24 months. Humiliation!

Making the immigration process as fast and easy as possible has not been a priority of the Conservatives. If anything, they've focused on cutting costs while making waits longer or cutting wait times by either kicking people out of line or shutting access to the queue completely.

If you think 24 months and getting approved is humiliating, try the parents/grandparents waiting for 4+ years or the people that waited for several years to have their type of application cancelled and all applications in the queue just discarded.

There has to be a better way, but the elections in October will say if it effects us or not.
