My lawyer who is taking care of our case just emailed me saying that our file is now in queue for an officer review. I am hoping by the end of December inshallah at least. However most of her clients that are applying are Egyptians and they are getting their PRs within 7 months.
I am not sure. But when my lawyer and I finished all the paper work and put all the documents together , there was a man who was applying and had finished all the paper work at the same time as me and he was using my lawyer as his representative, so when my lawyer sent in both of our files, I got my approval within 3 weeks and he got his after 1.5 month.. but his wife got the PR VISA last week or I believe she got it this week. So basically it took them 7 months.mosaab said:

Its the same condition at the Cairo embassy , its deal not only with Egyptian citizens but also with Palestinian ( Gaza file ) like me
and the Sudanese files

You know sometimes they receive it but thy dont check properly. This happened to me when they asked for the appendix A. I sent it right away. After they sent me an email saying they will be processing the file as is without the appendix A if they dont receive ot immediately. I was so frusterated because they threatened to refuse my case when it is their fault. I told them. Later they sent another email saying they found it. So make sure you send them an email with the tracking number again and explain your case. If you can, track the number yourself make sure it was delivered, make a copy of that also.msaidalii65 said:
