Amman - Spousal Since January 2012 or Late 2010

hey, that makes 3 of us now, mine says
We received (wife's name) application for permanent residence on October 20, 2011.


We started processing her application on January 27, 2013.


Medical results have been received. (does u guys says that too about the medicals?)

for my part tho, as a sponsor when i was approved to sponsor, i got that letter in the mail that said my file went to Damascus, syria back in early jan 2012, it says

We received your application to sponsor (wife's name) on October 20, 2011.

We sent you a letter on December 30, 2011 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

they changed mine to in process on the 27th of january too and also where it says medicals have been recieved was there too but now its gone. i wonder why

they don't talk about medical anywhere and they have not said anything about re doing medical


any idea of what I might be expecting from them

for u the first part is for the sponsor (when u login with ur client id) which is normal to be done
if u log in with ur wife's id or file number u will see the details for her (the second part of what u said)
u can see my details from my name and my previous posts and also from a table which has everyone's details; can't find the link anymore, maybe someone else can share it
in a nutshell:
- application received by Missisauga - 31 Jan 2012
- sponsor approval and file transfer to Amman - 24 April 2012
- get CSQ (my spouse is Quebec applicant) - end of May 2012
- send email to Amman with some updates and received reply from them with confirmation that our file is there - end of July 2012
- Medicals expired - 29 Nov 2012 (they were automatically extended one more year - we always had the "medical results have been received" on our ecas even after they were expired)
- e-cas changed to in process - 13 Jan 2013 (but i know from the GCMS notes that they started before that)
- PPR call and email - 04 Feb 2013
- visa issued in person - 11 Feb 2013

each case is different with different circumstances and we all have our turn; so your turn will come too!! my spouse is Syrian and some were saying that they were giving them priority : but noone really knows; good luck!!

don't rely on ecas too much; it's full of errors and problems - maybe it's still there but it's not displayed anymore; if they expire soon maybe they r in process of extending them

missmini I got a new email today stating i should get my medical redonedoes this mean I don't need to send my police certificate and other documents as was stated in the GCMS notes i requested?

good job that you go and give the document by hand .... I dont know if they have to.inform you . But for me they send me an email tell me they recieved the document ... Coz i send them an email asking them about that ....
You can send them email or call them to ask them if they recived ur document

Guys, can I send my Iraqi Citizenship Certificate via fax or email or do they need a hard copy sent to them? I want to avoid sending via post as its expensive and time consuming.

I think you can send it by emil but not fax. I sent my requested documents by emil, and they recieved it without any problems. so just send it by emil

i would send them only what they ask; maybe the rest they decided it's not needed anymore :
you can send the iraqi certificate attached to the email since they ask for copy anyways, not the original; but i would send that email after she does the medicals - so u can tell them she redid the medicals too and attach any paper from there as well; good luck!!

Hi... The best is to check Yahoo travel website and compare price and options, then go to the branch office for the airline to book.

I think the best option now Airfrance and Turkish Airline and depend on date of travel. Turkish Airline better with 2 bags but more expensive.

I don't think there is a one way from Amman to Toronto. But you can take the Royal Jordanian Airline and go from Amman to Chicago and Chicago to Toronto. It's better that way. I think it's cheaper and you can take 2 bags. I am leaving June 2 and I am going from Toronto to Chicago and Chicago to Amman it only costed me $859.00.
