what about sponser aproval they send it to both or no? ? ? . Coz my husband who.only recived the AOR . Im fraid about my email i think maybe they misstake in it .. Coz it end with @ yahoo.co.uk

Thanks for the information Sister. Pease do check it with your hausband and let me know. Also, if they ask for SHAHADAT AL-JENSIA , do they want it with translation or just as is in Arabic ? And should my wife send it to them now or should wait till the embassy ask for it ?

Hi missmini, Thanks for all the posts that are really helpful for all of us!

I have a few questions I need to ask you:

1) When you say E-case, do you refer to the Application Status found on the CIC website?

2) Regarding the two photos requested when issuing the visa, as the emailed you shared indicated that the photos specs are 45mm x 35mm. Did you follow the extra specs we had when we first submit the application, namely chin to crown measurements? or you just provided a 45x35mm photo with white background?

3) Can you please send me the link where I can apply for the GCMS notes? How long does it take to get the notes from them?

2. i followed the same extra specifications we had when we first submitted; although they don't clearly say it in the email the head to chin measurement is very important too; the head should not be big since they will use one of the photos for the Pr card which is small; so always follow the exact same specifications taken from their website
3. here r the forms and the info u need; it takes 30 days and it's ur husband who needs to order them (noone from outside Canada can)

Her Jordanian passport lists me as her husband would this be enough for the family list ? or should i get her to translate the family book ?

i think family list and family book refers to the same document (but it has different names in different countries); her passport is good, also ur tax papers as married would b good too if u have them but do also send what they ask or at least an explanation of why u cannot provide it; us we sent all this from the beginning and what we couldn't we explained; good luck!! hope u'll b at the end of the road soon

Yes , that's right. They just send one e-mail to the sponsor applicant and nothing else. This is what happened to me . My wife, the sponsered person, heard nothing from the embassy , not even a phone call though she had a phone # in Iraq. The visa office sent the letter addressed to my wife VIA my e-mail, most likely because she does not have an e-mail adress.

Yes there is such thing called family book (surat qayd) my wife got one for us as a married couple with our parents' names, and another one for her with her family members such as, father, mother and siblings. We sent those with our application from the beginning.

Yes I was wrong because the people at the civil status court misinformed us. My wife investigated further and like you said and as was previously mentioned the one that is needed is Surat Qaid.

yes!!! as i said before not only translate, officially translated and notarized (with notary stamp) in either english or french; we prefered in english; they don't accept it otherwise; even if they do speak arabic and understand, they usually will keep these documents in their records, hence they need to b in one of the official languages; do not send originals!! we didn't get them back but those originals we can also live without
also it's better to send them with a copy of their email, to make their life easy!!

I am surprised that mine has not even been looked at. No email or nothing and my time line is around the same time as yours I am hoping they will send me something so I can finally be at ease that they are at least overlooking it. Miss Mini do you suggest I call them I have sent so many emails none of them get responded to, this is very frustrating.
