did they send anything yet? there is a section in gcms called outgoing communication - all the letters/emails they send to u; if they already did and u don't have it, then u should just send the documents like that explaining why u send them but also tell them that u didn't receive that email/letter; make sure u include the file number and the applicant's uci
if they didn't then it's better to have the documents ready, wait for the email/letter and then send together with that email/letter; like this it's easier for them to give the documents to the right officer and attach it to the right file

I didn't see this section when I was skimming through my notes where would I find it?

yeah u r right!! i would like to go back to Jordan to visit a few places, my husband not so much : but i was thinking when things will b ok in Syria and we'll visit (for my first time) why not stop to Jordan too for a few days; i definately want to see Petra (got hooked on it since watching Transformers ) and Dead Sea; the other place i'm not sure what it is, i'll research it when the time comes
loool well i'm not surprised ppl walking in the street since so many cars r parked on the sidewalk : actually when i took the directions on google maps, it gave warning saying something like: there might b no sidewalks lol
on another note, i finally could access the ecas yesterday, after 2 weeks crash; not sure when it was updated or what was updated first but now it says "decision made" for the applicant and also his residential address is changed to Montreal, Canada ;D so if any of u will see the address changed too it's definately a good sign
as for GCMS notes, it's been 30 days and we still didn't get them, not that it makes a difference now

the medical results part was there since long time, maybe 1-2 weeks after i got the sponsor approval (and once we were able to start using ecas) while it was still "application received"; that line was there even after they expired; i don't think it makes a difference, as long as they r not lost (in gcms notes it should say "passed")

sorry i double checked and it's just simple called notes: notes 1, notes 2, etc; one notes for us is the email we send to them; another notes is the sponsor approval email sent to us; they are at the end end maybe last page or second to last page

I only see Notes:1 and all it says is

1- your wife needs to do a new medical examination as the one sent has expired.
2- they need also a new ORIGINAL updated police certificate from IRAQ ( for your wife)
3- a copy for her iraqi citizenship certificate
4- family list or civil status for her as married
5- employment letter for you from Canada

So whats my next step?

One question,

When you sent in your applications, didn't you print the pictures and include it in your file? Also, why do they need the pictures, and why by email?

Actully what happened with me, when I sent my application I sent a CD for the pictures, didn't know I had to print them, so they returned me my CD by mail with a letter saying they will request it later, so that's why they are requesting them again now, by emil because I think is faster and bczo at the same time they requested the police certificate which they said its ok if I scan it and just send it, so I send pictures and ploice certificate by emil.

My file went to in process and they start the processing in February and the medical result not appear
And I did not receive any email to redo the medical test tell me please is that positive and what can I do
And what happened now in my file

Actully what happened with me, when I sent my application I sent a CD for the pictures, didn't know I had to print them, so they returned me my CD by mail with a letter saying they will request it later, so that's why they are requesting them again now, by emil because I think is faster and bczo at the same time they requested the police certificate which they said its ok if I scan it and just send it, so I send pictures and ploice certificate by emil.

Oh, I see. My lawyer told me that I couldn't send by CD because they needed the pictures printed out and on the back of each picture they wanted to know who was in the picture and where the picture was taken. However, I only sent my engagement pictures and pictures of us on vacation as well as birthdays. I wonder when they'll ask for wedding photos. So I guess they don't mind if we email the pictures? And you said you only sent the CD correct? And they returned it? Was this after approval of sponsor evaluation or before?

it's a big document, computer generated, with everything they write abt ur application, everything they have abt u; like this u understand at what stage they r, if they started something, if there is some communication lost, etc
once u order them u'll understand better

at the end u decide what makes u feel more confortable; u can either just send the documents saying u saw they need them from GCMS notes or just send them an email asking them when u should send the documents (or if they need anything or just ask them for updates) or wait a little more until u get news from them
only someone who went through the same thing could advice u what to do exactly; but even then each file is different, each embassy works in different way

email is fine but yes the police certificate they usually ask for it original so mail it also after u email them the scan (someone here just said that he sent it by email and it seemed ok); good luck!!

ya this happened to me too both sponsor and applicant changed to in process. but now im missing medicals received in the applicants ecas. it just says

We received --------- application for permanent residence on January 27, 2012.

We started processing --------- application on February 5, 2013.
