AMITY UNIVERSITY WES NOT RECOGNISED

Hi prateek,

I received my ECA from wes and it says that my masters are not recognised . I have done MBA executive from amity university noida as distance learning mode of batch 2010 -12.amity also sent ugc letter to them and inspite of sending so many mails to them they are not ready to revise my report.even wes took almost 3 months of getting my evaluation done .plz suggest what to do ?Are Iqas recognized amity university distance learning mode specially the 2010 -12 batch?please suggest me

Plz dont waste time for ECA with WES if you have an indian mba, IQAS is the verified option

1] I'm currently doing a Postgraduate diploma from Amity University Online. It's a one year course. Admission year is 2018. I will get the provisional degree certificate in March 2019. Will IQAS recognise this? If I send the letter of recognition of UGC from Amity University, will that be good proof?

2] What was the year of admission for your course? How does the year of admission matter? Would you be able to email me the letter of recognition amity gave you and the one ugc gave you? I'm from Maharashtra so won't be able to go to UGC.

3] Can you mention the exact steps you took for sending the transacripts to IQAS directly from University as IQAS wants the university to send them degree and transcripts directly. How did you put in the request to send transcripts to IQAS? Did you put the transcripts and letters in envelop yourself and sealed it?

I'm stuck because I just have canadian bachelor's degree equivalency from WES (already done evaluation and was thinking of adding amity university online diploma to my evaluation but now I'll have to do a fresh evaluation from IQAS) and not meeting the points yet. I need a one year further study to get points for two or more certificates.

I hope , by now, you would have received your PGDM from Amity. Did you got positive evaluation of your PG from WES or IQAS?

Hi Friends,

Does WES recognizes Amity 1 year distance learning PGD-PA course. that's recognized by NASBA (UAS) but not sure about WES Canada.

Can you share what did you get in ECA report for her master's degree? Was it master degree for professional practice or graduation ( 4 years)?

Dear All
I had sent my mba degree Finance and IB from amity university noida (2005 batch )in jan 2020 . Though Wes has completed the evaluation and completed the order however they just evaluated other bachelor degree and professional CA degree without mentioning anything about mba . I don’t know why it was ignored ? Earlier it showed order pending because of transcripts of Mark sheets pf mba pending .all of a sudden they completed the process ignoring the fact the docs were pending from university . I don’t know what to do ???? I am following up on contact section and hv also emailed to my university . Can any one guide me if a separate evaluation need to be done or would they re assess it on my request ???
Has anybody encountered the same situation

I'm doing my BBA (3 years) .
My University is UGC recognised but not NAAC recognised yet unlike Noida and lucknow.
Will my degree be WES evaluated as 4 year eligibility?

Hi All,

I have finally received my IQAS for MBA(2 years) Distance Education from Amity University. And it says equivalent to Masters Degree.
For all students who are pass out from Amity University can go for IQAS and they need 2 documents
1. Certificate of recognition from Amity University issued by registrar or Director(This will have UGC letter no. for recognition)
2. Get copy of letters from UGC, go to UGC office and get the letter of recognition for the year, you took admission.

Send these along with IQAS application, and you will get it done.

I have done PGDM from Amity university by Distant education. in wes equivalency tool didn't find any option for PGDM and amity university .Any one can please suggest how to check the equivalency and apply for ECA.

I have got a letter from the Registrar stating that it is UGC Certified and moreover with a copy of letter from UGC stating the same
So I should be good..

Hi, I have done BCA from Amity University, Noida in 2006. My consultant is saying that my degree is not valid by WES as that time (2006) it wasn't UGC approved. Can someone help me how to proceed now.

If yes, then please do share the results & also if IQAS would be more convenient to get the degrees evaluated.
