Hi,
I got PR status last year and visited Canada with my family and returned back to my home country after spending one year there. There was a mistake in the name of my son on "Confirmation of permanent Residence" document. I applied for the correction and now I have received a letter approving correction of name. However, it says that if I want amendment in PR card I should apply for it within 60 days of the date of letter and the applicant should be physically present in Canada. The letter is dated March 03 and I received it yesterday.
Please if you could advice whether there is any way to avoid being physically present in Canada to apply for the amendment in PR card OR if I could avoid it for now and next year when I will settle permanently in Canada then I apply for amendment in PR card.
Regards
Faisal
