Hello there,
I have been in canada as a student to learn english and study engineering for 6 years, 2 months, 17 days (2267 days). So my question is:
- am I eligible to get a PR?
if yes:
- do I need a lawyer?
if no:
- what do I need to get my PR ?!

I my questions sounds stupid but I'm really lost in all these unorganized websites they have for immigrants ::)

1. Did you check the official Gov't site to determine your eligibility? http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/apply.asp

You being a student for 6 years does not make you eligible all by itself for either PR or citz. Since you are not a PR, you are certainly not eligible for citz. For PR you will need to use eligibility calculator on cic website and check eligibility.

Did you learn any english?
The CIC website is good enough, and more than clear even for an engineer.
To be eligible for Citizenship, the main requirement is to be PR in Canada, and then are coming other requirements.
To become PR in Canada, there is a selection process, described on CIC website: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/eligibility.asp

After 6 years study, I thought you should be able to figure that out. If you have a job right now, then it's really easy to get a PR, just a matter of time.
google and cic official website are your best friends.

Why is everyone being rude to this guy? Sure, he needs to do his homework, but there's really no need to be rude. We're all in the same boat here.

Not being rude at all, but some users want to be spoon feed everything they need. If the guy is an engineer, he should have heard of Google and searching.

if you're asking the question it's because you don't have your PR which is necessary to get your citizenship..

Based on the information you gave here you are not a PR yet I assume, as others have stated above you will need to get PR first before you can think of citizenship. The PR procedures have changed to the new EE (Express Entry) system please refer to this thread for details on how the process works and you should follow the PR thread for questions and details from then on.

Rude? Nobody is rude. Sarcasm is the answer to stupidity.
What is that boat you talking about?
