Am i eligable to bring spouse?

My mother who was the main applicant we got parmanent residence last year.We arrived in canada last year and i was only 22 and half on that time.She applied for us when we were under 22 and dependent so we came as that dependant status.Now i m turning 23 soon.I have a job and survive myshelf and i am planning to marry this year.Am i eligable to bring spouse in canada and do i need to show any financial requirement?

As a permanent resident you're eligible to sponsor a spouse. Since the one being sponsored is a spouse you don't have to meet any financial requirements.

yes you donot need to show financial status but should show something that you are working and deffinetly not going for emploment insurance and stuff that will effect your application but other than that yeh you can sponser your wife but by the wife where you planning to get married and what you doing right now ?

Receiving Employment Insurance benefits will NOT affect the eligiblity to sponsor a spouse.
