I am planning a trip to Toronto in 2024. I was convicted of two misdemeanors in the US in 2013, sentences completed 9/2014 & 12/2014. Both my FBI and State fingerprint checks come back with "no criminal records on file". Am I admissable or do I need to go through the rehabilitation process?

Based on the info provided, you would most likely need to go through the rehab process. If you live close to the border, I believe there's an option for driving to the border and submitting the rehab application there to speed up processing.

Doesn't it matter what the convictions were for and if they translate to the criminal code of Canada as being serious enough to be deemed inadmissible?
Perhaps the two sentences were just probation?

Both included fines; probation and counseling. Suspended jail time unless repeated the offence
