Alternative ways to contact IRCC after application returned without AOR

There are a few instances where the online citizenship application was returned without AOR, e,g. unable to verify physical presence before PR, or documents were missing when they were indeed attached in the original submission.

One can do their best to provide all the supporting docs and may still receive a rejection without AOR or explanation on what IRCC is actually looking for, I know there's webform but without an AOR there's no way to track that application in the system yet.

Beside guessing what they want and resubmitting the applications again with supporting docs in the "optional information" section, what else can we do to reach out to them on these issues?

TIA!

In the vast majority of cases (at least the ones I've seen in the forum), IRCC doesn't let the applicants in the dark regarding the reason their application was returned, and specifies the issue.

Did they return yours without saying why?
It would be unusual, but if so, 2 things, in order :

1) go through your application again : are you positive you have accumulated enough days, with easily verifiable status (for example, without visitor days for visa-exempt passports, or before a refugee claim approval), did you cover the whole 5 years for your address and work history without leaving a gap, maybe you can use another piece of ID or language proof instead of the ones you provided and so on...
2) if you still can't figure it out, it would probably be worth it to go through your application again with the help of a second pair of eyes. Google immigration help services in your city to get the help for free maybe, or contact any immigration consultant.

Without specifics, it's mostly guess work as you already know, and not sure calling IRCC would be of any help (others may chime in, but I don't think IRCC keeps a trace of returned applications). One thing I may add is to include a letter to your application saying that a previous one was returned without explanation, and that if the current application was meant to be returned too, it would be appreciated to clearly specify the issue this 2nd time.

Good luck.
