Alternative for a birth certificate while applying for PR through Non-Express entry.

I applied for my BCPNP under Semi-skilled which got approved & eventually I received an invitation to apply for permanent residency through Non-express entry only which had to be done through PR Portal. I submitted all the documents which was requested except for the birth certificate. I submitted my grade 10th certificate as a birth certificate and attached an additional document with my application explaining why I couldn't submit a birth certificate. Some of my friends are telling me that my application might get rejected because of it and I'm kind off worried about it. As I have already submitted my application, is there any solution for it? Will my application get rejected? If yes, what should be my next step?

Hello brother, please advise if the 10th certificate worked out as an alternative for the birth certificate.
